THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE DEBATE

imageHere it is then a chance for all the positive AVFC and negative AVFC,pro Lambert, anti Lambert to debate their side.I thought ide throw this post into the melting pot and see who believes in the new AVFC and who does not.
In my time on Aston Villa News and Views anti vibes pop up quite alot. These two pro and anti probably pop up quite alot on other sites to.I am not trying to single anyone out here I’m just trying to see how many people feel the positive, exiting vibes I feel about Paul Lamberts new look AVFC and who does not.
I am all for the new look AVFC and see Lamberts reign as a massive plus for our club and long may it continue IMPO.He has bought youth, vibrance, belief and pride to our massive club that seemed to be in decline. We couldn’t seem to get it right. Then along came Lambert and changed everything up for the future.
No longer are there any pay cheque players comfortable in their stay at AVFC.The so called pay chequers have been shown the door and all will eventually be gone.
Instead we have players who want to earn their pay by putting in 100%’for the team and club.I am happy with what is going on at AVFC but Ime sure there are a few or more out their who are not.So give your views on what you feel is positive or negative at AVFC at the moment.
This debate has been along time coming so here it is in all it s glory POSITIVE or NEGATIVE which
one are you?UTV

Happy for Ricky Lambert. He brings the England team something extra. Not sure what that Moldova keeper was doing for the third goal?!

Get Gabby in there now and they’ll win the world cup! 😉

    1. With Wellbeck out for Tuesday is there a chance of a call up or has the squad been selected?UTV I would be so happy to see Gabby in an England shirt again. If he gets another chance I hope he would have a great game UTV

  4. Changing the subject has anyone seen the cheek of Alan Hutton gobbing off to the press today about how he has been treated?

2 week fine minimum please Lambert….get £90k back on the bank balance or better still donate to Acorns for genuine human beings who deserve and desperately need it…..

He needs to wind his neck in, he is still paid £45k per week, poor him. He is one of the worst footballers I have ever seen at Villa Park. Bosko Balaban is the worst, He is number 2. Djemba-Djemba is at 3.

Some points for him to think about while away with Scotland……..
    1) Did any club come in for him and offer to pay his full wages?
    2) Was he willing to take a wage reduction?
    3) Is he willing to cancel his contract and walk away from BMH/VP on a free transfer?

NO to all questions is that Mr Hutton? well go and rot in the reserves. You should never wear our claret and blue shirt again. You are a disgrace. Maybe Rangers will take you back in Scottish League 1?

Sorry but I am annoyed with this character…..

I feel positive about what Lambert’s doing and I actually believe he is instilling the financial discipline and sensible wage policy. Under AM I dont understand why PF sanctioned deals such as Shay Given when we were meant to be trimming the wage bill. PL has rewarded those that have performed. Only thing that puzzles me is the marginalisation of players which weakens our ability to move them on. That said it shows that PL has real conviction and self-belief and I can see him being a top manager. He also gets the best out of the players that have a good work ethic.

You have to back the manager, when he first comes in.

When you add in Hutton, it just goes to show how bad Faulkner and AM are, as judges of players.

Crap business, by a crap (insert what Faulkner is supposed to be here), coupled with a crap manager and an owner who had more important things on his mind, imo.

How I wish we could get someone like Levy in.
He even took the piss out of Real and made them look right mugs!.

It wasn’t so much Given as a player and can even accept his high wages but I just dont get the 5 year contract; I can understand 5 years for a young up and coming player because it increases his transfer fee (Bentekes extension has probably added £5m to his transfer value) but Given is towards the end of his career. You might say easy for me to say with hindsight but surely these are the type of decisions the board are entrusted to get right more often than not.
