1. Olsson? Average defender, more on par with Senderos than Vlaar so it would be a step down. Do think we’ll spend a fair bit more in January than usual so we stay up more comfortably than we will.

14. Nath, I’m sure we all have hope, whatever our viewpoints.
    The problem is that optimism is so easy to shoot down at the moment and I’m sure that any comments aren’t directed at you personally.
    It’s more pure frustration, imo.

    You might have noticed that I came out at the start of the season with quite a bit of hope and optimism, only to have it totally knocked out of me in the QPR game.

    I expect Southampton to give us a lesson in proper football, so if we lose it won’t upset me massively. I will though, be looking for some sort of change in the way we play, as the current setup guarantees defeat, imo.

    And then it’s onto games against teams around us, where we simply have to get points.
    They’ll be the games that tell us everything about where we’re headed.
    And still I’m worried.
