Villa – Arsenal

So Hitchens has developed a habit of getting in a day before me with his thoughts and it sometimes puts me in a position which may come across as repetitive, or even pointless.
So, I thought what the hell, I’ll just make his last post the headline article and reply to that.
Add some squad news and there you are Hitch, job done.
Start writing and save people from my one sided rambles

Forget FIFA – had my rant 🙂

Arse tomorrow and for some inexplicable, crazy reason I feel confident – not worried about the game! Is that because anyone, other than a Villa fan, expect Arse to win? I don’t know.

There is something different about Villa this season – call me bonkers – but Canadian Pete alluded to a change in mentality that makes us ‘dangerous’ even though we’ve had to shop in Home Bargains!

Anyway, I’m saying we won’t lose tomorrow – I feel we can win it with Ollie showing he’s getting back to his best and Onana starting to show why we spent £50m on him (worth reading Unai’s comments on Onana in his press briefings – also reveals how Emery thinks). I really think we can do something special this season.

So, at the risk (as Badger might say) of throwing a massive spanner in the works, I’m going for a win!

  1. Watching TNT5 – very funny.

Prince William takes Keown to task (on Twitter) for not making Buendia MoM – Keown’s response is to defend his ‘too early’ decision in the 89th minute and to avoid a ‘court martial’ will change his decision to Buendia. Lovely moment and tbf to Keown he seems to be honest and fair in his views.

Also loved some of McCoist’s comments.
