Which do you prefer to read on this site?
For what it’s worth, Ian has some of the most outlandish thoughts on any Villa site anywhere, in my opinion, for example.
Thoughts that can be totally right or totally wrong, which to me makes things interesting.
Indeed, I’ve just posted something that is pretty much a load of rubbish.
But I’d be very interested to know if you think we should keep posting speculative stuff or just stick to the facts.
I’m not saying your vote will make any difference, as the site policy tends to us being a bit outlandish sometimes (you can get pure facts anywhere); it’s just purely out of my own interest.

Sticks out a mile to me Badger, keep to the facts, I’m all for joking but to me Aston Villa is my religion, born and bread in Aston’ hate the fact that we are crap.
It’s not about joking Bill.
We never joke about the Villa in the main articles.
I’m talking about stuff we might be guessing at, or at least stuff that might well not be correct, as opposed to 100% fact.
Having looked at the title again, I should have asked “facts or speculation”.
Oh well, never mind 🙂
As long as you state that it’s speculation, what’s the harm. Better to have a vibrant forum with opinion flying this way and that, than no news for days. IMHO of course.

Post whatever! This site should be about friendly debate between Villa fans whatever the topic…. The only thing wrong with this site is when a topic or debate is published there’s too many people that want to knock it down instead of having a decent conversation about it.
We all want the same thing, a competitive Avfc.
i prefer to comment on FACTS,but i confess, i do love rumors maybe the reason i love visiting this site

My only gripe if I can call it that are similar articles basically talking about the same issue but worded differently, besides that I’m quite content. Like NATH says I don’t mind abit of juicy Goss, keep the good work up.it keeps my day ticking over nicely. 😉
Rumour and gossip add to the fun.

That’s very fair comment Giddy.
The trouble is there are only certain things you can talk about when it comes to a football club. Ie, the state we’re in, who needs to go and of course the takeover.
And then, the main authors, myself included, will all have our own set ways of looking at things.
Hence things can become a bit repetative.
That’s why we strongly encourage people to contribute their own articles, to give different perspectives.
The problem there is, nobody’s contributing 🙁
