Well, that’s my balls fair and square on the block.
I just think we’re going to win this, it’s that simple.
Let’s do the team news.
Apparantly, McCormack and Gabby both have ankle injuries.
Er, read they aren’t playing then, because neither have shown anything and it’s just a reason?
I know what I think and if we have to say they’re injured instead of quite simply rubbish, I can live with it.
It means we play the players who are actually performing.
McCormack’s a goner for me and the biggest problem is if we can shift him, although I’m sure many won’t agree with that thought.
Gabby? Well I’m saying nothing at all, because that’s all he’s worth to the club now.
On Cardiff’s side, I’m not seeing any issues, apart from maybe some sickness bug running through the club.
Yes that’s always a good excuse, but when it’s pointed out that Joe Bennet is facing the Villa for the first time, you know Cardiff have problems. Adomah should have him for breakfast, simple and I might even contemplate Gestede coming on for a cross-fest.
Their fans remain majorly optimistic and that’s good to see, but to be honest, I think they’re deluded.
While Neil warnock is a great manager and one I really admire, for once I feel I have to go back to the days of old where I confidently predict a win.
My head says 2-1 and my heart says 2-0.
I’m going with my head.
If we don’t win this, forget any ambitions.
But there’s always that Warnock factor, isn’t there?
Warnock is a good manager at this level but he’s still working mainly with sow’s ears whereas we have more than a few silk purses.
Fully expect Kodjia, Adomah and Grealish to make mincemeat out of Cardiff
Villa 3-0 at least
Dangerous to under estimate Warnock and he’s turned us over a few times. Having said that, anything other than a win would be a disaster and probably end hopes of even a play off place – such is our position after RDM’s ill fated reign.
rdm was the wrong manager we all knew this at the time and we were proven right. today we face a manager that could also have turned us around, as sir bruce has started to do. but at cardiff he has less tools to work with. so i am not under estimating them, but nothing less than 3 points would be deemed a loss.
they have good players like bennet and whittingham both failed to make a career at villa but both have plenty of ability on any given day, especially a day like today against the team that rejected um 3 nil to the villa we march on
I’ll go with 2-1Villa, yes I like Warnock he knows his job and today will show that, Glad if Gabbys not in he’s lost it by being a prat over the years and running around not helping, hope this game will move us up a few places in the league to give the players more confidence against the likes of Newcastle and our enemies whose name I’m not mentioning. utv. .
I think Warnock will know Cardiffs weaknesses and park the bus today, so it could be a tough 1-0. As long as we give a good performance and get the three points I’ll be a happy bunny tonight.
Agreed Bum Bum – Warnock is a good tactician and, like Bruce, knows how to get the best out of the players at his disposal. It won’t be easy but if we really hold any thoughts about challenging for promotion this season then these are the games we have to win.
I think a close 1.0 to us but it will be hard to break them down
I’m going for a far more realistic prediction than I have in the past 3-0 VILLA VTID COYL
3 pts today would be very nice. 1-0 to the Villa.
I’m going villa 2-0 Cardiff UTV
