Hi guys, have put a Sky Sports news feed in to the right under the recent comments, ideally i’d like to pull in the NewsNow feed but they charge £75 a month so i thought the Sky one would be decent as it’s free, what do you all think? want to keep it or shall i get rid?

Erm I am disappointed too lads but this is much ado about nothing!

I haven’t read the Birmingham mail article but did they include that we apparently bid 7.5m and nurnberg released a statement?

Nurenberg released an official statement along the lines of..
he is not for sale, and they want to keep him.
This reportedly after a 7.5m bid
So lads is it lerner’s fault he isn’t for sale ?

Or are you thinking that those statements are just smokescreen and an attempt to drive up the price.
Well correct me if I am wrong but usually when a club rejects a player and categorically and very publically states they don’t want to sell him, it becomes a question of making an offer they can’t refuse a la Chelsea, man city style or what Liverpool did with Carroll …. Basically throw ridiculous money at it

So … Do you think a few million more will budge them? lol I would say more like 15m – 20m more like.
Is still he still worth it?

Is he still the “must have”player that not one of us were remotely aware of before these rumors came out based on YouTube and his reputed price tag

I would say don’t stress about it lads

    According to talkshite, Everton and Stoke are keen to take Ireland, with Brighton also interested, so here’s l]Lambert’s master plan as I see it;
    1. get a bidding war going for Ireland, settle for £9 mill.
    2. but Kiyotake for £8.5 mill.

Anyone seen the latest with Villa on sports direct news

So now apparently we’re in for Ba on a season long loan as a replacement for Benteke.

It’s a fantasy of the media to get Benteke to London which isn’t happening and Ba’s likely to move permanently out of England.

I reckon the deal is Chelsea pay us £15 mill and we get Ba on loan as a “sweetner”. In the London media’s dreams apparently, and we should be grateful.

That’s ludicrous about Ba!! Where do they get these stories from?!!

On another note, I would be shocked if we got any money for Ireland…but then again Hughes is back in the managerial world! Maybe he can take Given too!!

Personally I think that if Tottenham want Benteke, they only have to put an offer in. I mean, what player could resist the allure of playing for the world’s greatest club, in the most dazzling and exciting city on earth?
Well, I reckon that’s how a lot of the meejah see it anyway.
Gweatest team in va wurrrrld, yawah Spurrrrzzzz. So I’ve heard.

Let’s just hope he’s not in the real world, mate. £4 mill for Ireland would be sweet!

I wouldn’t pay too much attention to that story, Sports Direct are hardly reliable.

Like how the site looks well done Guest, this Kiyotake seems to be another Belhanda. I think we have shown interest but clubs have blabbed.

Does anybody actually think there’s anything in these rumours about Ireland to Stoke or Everton?
Personally I reckon that he’s already retired on his pension from us.

Well apparently Suarez is on his way to Chavski for about £35 mill. Now that’s interesting if true. Only yesterday the meejah were linking the blues to Benteke.

If true Davidg, (and I hope not) the window will be taking off nexweek, and a few surprises nodought, let’s hope we can keep Benteke for 1/2 the season just give our new lads guts and thunder for the club.I have that feeling that we are all going to have I’m a Villa fan yearning and proud of it. Let’s get rid of the dead wood we have then happy days are back.
