It’s not often I resent the opposition getting the win if they deserved it, but Cardiff are the exception.
And even though I thought we were very lucky to win that game, as Cardiff were more the effective side, so I’m really glad we won this.
In some ways I admire Warnock for what he’s done with the Cardiff squad, but the donkey that he was for us, Joe Bennett, looked a different player, is now a dirty, fouling footballer. He is a typical example and that’s what Warnock gives to the game.
There’s no way on earth we taught him to play like that and his booking was well over-due.
Basically Cardiff are a dirty bunch of bastards.
So even though I thought Cardiff probably deserved it more than us, Jack Grealish hits a beaut, that had him turning away as soon as he struck it.
It was about the only way we would win the game, I think.
Johnstone saved us a couple of times and should probably get the MOTM, but goals win games, don’t they?
That’s a big blow to Cardiff, so I wonder how they will react? They’ve now not won in 3 games.
Fulham are on a remarkable run, Can they keep it up?
Dare I say that this league is way more entertaining than the Prem?
Er, yes, without a doubt.
I thought we played ok, which it seems some might disagree with.
But it doesn’t matter.
We won. And that’s all that counts.
well bill i was already up before your post around 5,30 dashing around. i enjoyed dsvilla posts. finally some honesty along with a good summoning up. i also agree on millwall who i have been impressed with this season. i watched them draw with us earlier in season. we got off lucky in that game. they hammered us without scoring. they pressed the life out of us and totally stopped our wide players. created loads of clear scoring chances, we struggled against their style
tonight i am looking forwards to the game. we have to start performing on cue. cant afford to let leeds start well. cant afford to take the game lightly. we have to play them like they are wolves or cardiff, respect the opposition.
mentioned it last night jonstone interview after the cardiff game,he let slip they have slackened off in games lately. if fulham hit the wall now they are in top 2. we have too far a gap to overtake them. all down to losing games we shouldn’t be losing. at least they did this just before playoffs and not in them. lesson should be learned now hopefully
Off topic but I have just seen Blues last 4 games – Wolves (A), Sheff Utd (H), QPR (A), Fulham (H). Ouch!
Going, Going, GONE…. gilly gilly.
Onomah for Hourihane, Whelan in , this is going to be interesting.
Villa crossing is so poor
