I really give up with Lambert.
It now transpires he is contemplating bringing in Billy Stark, the Scottish U-21 coach to help him out;

He has to be joking, surely?
I wouldn’t want the Scottish first team’s coach, let alone the U-21.
I’m not anti Scottish in the slightest, but what on earth would he have to offer to the Prem?
You might as well bring in a League two coach, as that’s about the quality of Scottish footy.
Another sign of yet more total lack of ambition, from a manager, owner and club that is just looking to survive.
I really struggle to believe that Lerner still has any faith whatsoever in Paul Lambert.
My god, Lambert just has to go as this simply isn’t good enough for the Villa, even when we’re struggling.
And if Lerner is actually listening to this tripe, he simply has to go too.
Or are we all just being played?
Nothing would surprise me anymore.
I’m struggling to keep up here and am feeling a bit frazzled, as I’m not sure whether this is the board trying to get rid of Lambert or them actually being stupid enough to go down this road in backing Lambert to the hilt.
At the moment, I just want the lot of them gone, as what’s going on is a total disgrace and making us a laughing stock.
William McGregor will be turning in his grave, wondering what the hell is going on with the famous club that he practically formed, I’m sure.
And just in case you think I’m being racist, he was a Scot too.

It doesn’t matter who we’re potentially getting in anymore. We’re a club going to waste. History means nothing in the modern game, no exceptions.
For the immediate future of our clubs PL status, I’m truly concerned at where our next points are coming from. All the bottom three have gumption in them and it could well be Villa Swansea and Norwich who fall in some twisted turn of events.
This ‘model’ or ‘project’ has been force fed to the fans so much now without any forward movement whatsoever.
Going down might just be the remedy to this whole mess, as much as it pains me to say it.
