I don’t know what it is, but I feel totally alive again as a Villa fan.
It’s not so much that I expect us to do really well this season: I don’t particularly, although StreetlyVillan’s comments last night convinced me to up my ambition for the forthcoming season to 12th place.
No, it’s more that I feel we’re in a state of adversity and the club needs us.
Anyway, it’s a way of thinking that made me order tickets for the Liverpool game, where my grandson and myself will be in the thick of things in K5. If my gaffer wants me to work that day, well that’s just tough 🙂
The grandson was actually given two “tickets for schools” vouchers for this game, so I could have got cheaper seats in the areas of lower demand, but I can’t be doing with that and much prefer to go where the atmosphere is.
So I have these two vouchers that can be exchanged for kids tickets, going free to anyone that might want them.
It’s a great idea, this scheme, imo.
Basically, if you don’t already know, as long as an adult buys a ticket, you can take an under-12 child for free.
The slight downside is that you have to actually go to one of the ticket offices to claim them.
But, as I say, I have two going free if anyone’s interested.
