Norwich and Aston Villa have re-entered negotiations in regards to Norwich’s midfielder Wes Hoolahan. Hoolahan has submitted a transfer request and appears to be desperate to leave Norwich to Aston Villa. Lambert has said he will be trying to be bring in new players prior to the transfer deadline day and it appears as though he’ll finally get his number 1 target on transfer deadline day.
Hoolahan was left out of Norwich’s squad against Newcastle yesterday with Norwich and Aston Villa re-negotating the transfer fee. Aston Villa initially offered a fee of £750,000, it’s rumoured that Villa have increased that offer up to £1 million. The deal will probably be concluded on transfer deadline day.
There are certain rumours that shouldn’t be believed, as I might’ve stated yesterday; but this one I do in-fact believe. Hoolahan doesn’t want to play for Norwich and I reckon they’ll prefer to cash in for their midfielder soon rather than later. Villa are in need of an attacking midfielder and it appears as Hoolahan will be that player. So it appears as the Hoolahan saga may in-fact come to an end this Friday
