West ham – Villa; Preview

So after all the lack of activity in the transfer window, it seems we have a game tonight.

Does anyone really care?

While the immediate response might be to say “no”, it’s still a game in a league where we’re trying to survive and it’s still important, I suppose.

I could rattle on about squads, but it doesn’t really matter, does it?

West Ham have quite a few injuries, whereas we have very few out that really matter.
Even our supposed goalscorers in Gestede and Kozak being out makes little difference, because they just don’t score anyway, do they?

Prediction?
Another load of crabby possession type footy, where Westwood looks decent, that ultimately achieves nothing.
And a 2-0 loss, where Gabby starts and does what he usually does. Ie less than nothing.

Fortunately, there’s no hope of me seeing the torture, so I’m relying on you lot to keep me updated.
If I can be bothered to look, at the late hour it’ll be played out over here.

I’m sorry if that seems overly short, but I’ve had it with the Villa for today.
The club overall has no ambition whatsoever and I really don’t see why I should care in the slightest, at the moment.

Hopefully normal service will be resumed later.

Again parts of the media are saying publically what we’ve been saying for ages:

And well said Matty Laws, he’s got more balls than Mat (we don’t rock the bout around here) Kendrick at the B’ham Mail (allegedly).

Kendrick has to toe the corporate line or risk getting banned from BMH. Which is why everything he writes is neutral and not worth reading. Not his fault I guess he’s got no choice. But the media and politicians per se have to answer to their paymasters. Probably why Trump is popular he finances himself and is in noones back pocket because of this. It’s the way of the world and anything outside the mainstream is frowned upon by liberal left media and politicians including football

At least the Baron King of Lothbury is a fan and he can join our other noble; Randy -The King of Barren Villa.

Actually I think the appointment of King is a positive not negative move. I’m still unhappy about Hollis as Chairman and I want to hear more of this so called repositioning of the club to get us back to the top of football – better find a new owner with plenty of dosh next then!

It’ll be nice to see a genuine VILLA fan on board (pardon the pun) maybe he could be the voice of the fans & actually see what the FUCKs going on.KING doesn’t come over as a yes man but I could be wrong I have more faith in him than Hollis.whoever comes in its too late now & certainly a window of opportunity missed PS I still think he’s SHITE at darts.

I’m with you Giddy – to have a real Villa fan on Board and someone who’s used to both standing up to serious players and to media interrogation has to be a positive – would have preferred him as chairman as I really don’t have any faith in Hollis.

    Well now that’s a score I wouldn’t have expected –

    New Board 3 – 0 New Players

Is Remi expected to play King at right back or something?

It says something when a club brings in more board members than players in the the window,I wonder if their any good kicking a ball couldn’t be any worse.
