Tonight, I’ve received a complaint from Terry Jones, where he’s apparently been slandered and is threatening us with a day in court.
I could do with a day off work, tbh and find it laughable, but that’s how it is.
Given that the mail address that Terry signed up to the site with may be very little used, I have no option but to post this reply on here, with the intention that there is more chance of him seeing it;

Thanks for your threat of legal action against us.
It’s a shame that you never contacted us first to talk about it, but hey, there you go;
“Now I want this posting on Monday night i noticed that i had been accused of making a comment on this site and slanderouse remarks were made.Therwefore i have had two meetingings with my solicitor over this and on his adivce am demanding a full reraction of those remarks from those involved or if not by Friday 2pm of this week i will be seeking legal addreess what i mean is i will endevour to sue trhe owners of this site and those whom made the remarks in the first place.I will tell you now i mean what i say sand those involvesd can look forward to a day in court unless a public retration is posted on tihis site within the next twelve hours.”
I can only suggest that you visit your solicitor again and get him to explain (in decent English) , exactly what you are talking about, as we don’t have a clue.
As for your threats, they carry no weight whatsoever with me personally and I will happily see you in court.
I will post this reply on the site, just in case this email address I’m responding to is little used on your part.
My opinion says that we should not communicate anymore, except via the e-mail addresses of myself or Ooohah, as provided on the “about the authors” section of the site, where we’ll be happy to reply to any of your solicitor’s questions.
Hence it is with deep regret that you will no longer be able to post on the site.
I look forward to hearing from your solicitor.

Now, please don’t laugh or post anything derogatory, as an accusation of this kind has to be taken seriously on our part.
That said, hopefully you know my work situation and I won’t be able to delete any remarks for ages.
And there’s you lot thinking we post a load of crap and earn a fortune for it.
The fact is we run this site in our own time and it costs us money, as we earn nothing from it.
And then you have to deal with this sort of stuff 🙁
Morning BWS, its a shame its come to this as we all see things different, your right its all bluff at the minute as you said cost an arm and a leg over nothing. Langford has his principal over this and we all don’t know peoples home lives! Terry is as I understand it is a single person and enjoys outdoor life, what I’m trying to get at is Terry said the wrong thing without thought and Langford picked up on it, as you’ve said there was two meanings the wrong one was taken. IMO. I hope it don’t turn nasty..
Is this for real haha, took me a while to catch up here, I never saw the original comment as it has been deleted but I think i get the jist of what was said and I agree with all the responses made. Sounded well out of order.
What a plonker, and now in his own embarassement he’s trying to threaten with suing the site? Laughable it really is.
No comments in response to what was orginally said by him are in anyway a suable offense.
We should have a memorial post to his consistent and non-wavering pessimism for everything AVFC (with his picture attached) 😉
