Villa 2-1 Leicester; Wemberley!

I awoke for a leak at 9.15pm, which is 1.15
am proper time, as I fell straight to sleep after the game.
This being on holiday job is quite tiring, I’ll have you know.
I straight away had a ciggy in my left hand and a beer in my right hand.
I commented to the missus that if she had something in her hand, this would be heaven.
But she wasn’t having any of that, alas.

Bloody hell, it still feels like I’m in heaven though, after that result.
Did anyone really expect it?
Truth be told, I didn’t at all.

I’m still steaming drunk, after drinking well over half a litre of rum and some beers and am going back to bed.

The score was still the first thing I thought of, is the point.

How much better did Samatta look over Wesley, is the standout thought for me?
I’ll review things when I’ve recovered.

See Hogan has joined the Blues on loan – nothing more to say really although hope they’re contributing more than Badger’s suggested £15 / week towards his wages 🙂

It’s a bit strange. I kind of want Hogan to do well as he needs to resurrect his career, yet at the same time I don’t want him to do well for them. I’ld settle for him doing well but them failing I guess.

Seems Jota might be moving to Fulham. If true, probably a sensible move all round.

I read the same. I wonder if there’s any truth in that story of Uruguay midfielder, Gastón Pereiro coming to us? I’ve not seen him play but he has good stats and only up for sale because he’s refusing to sign a contract extension. It was reported by his agent there was an offer.

And think Chessie going out on loan would be good for everyone. He needs game time and deserves it. A loan would give us the opportunity to see how fit he is.

Loan or permanent, Hitch? He looked good when we played Everton in August – some slide-rule through balls for Wesley, one for the goal. It would be a shame if we ditched him; I think he’s got potential.

With the form of Mings and Konsa and considering their ages, it is difficult to see Chessie getting a game. If he was left footed I would put him in ahead of Hause who is poor in possession. Also Engels has been frozen out after his poor performances although has potential IMO.

As for Hogan, I hope he scores in every game but still ends up on the losing side. That would be a win win for Villa fans.

If Danny Rose is available, I’d like to see us go for him and shift Taylor on.
