Well, what do you say about that game?
While I thought we were actually ok for the first half hour, with our containment plan working pretty well, I look back on the game as a whole and think we were pretty poor.
We started off brightly. We were hunting in packs and generally running our nuts off, exactly as I like to see as to me, it’s our biggest strength.
But you just get the feeling that it isn’t enough.
El Ahmedi, for example, was closing down and stopping them playing, but showed little else.
Delph, who’s been very reliable over the last few weeks, worked hard, but how often did he give the ball away today?
Enough of naming specific players though and while I can’t fault the effort, I just have the over-riding feeling that we’re just poor overall.
The first goal was at least fortuitous, with a nice ball banged in by Andros Townsend, who can do no wrong of late, that seemed to catch Guzan out because he was expecting a header.
It actually didn’t touch anyone and it was just one of those things.
A shame, as I thought we’d actually held our own up till then.
Spurs, having got the goal seemed to step up a gear to me and my opinion says we just couldn’t live with them.
Benteke was brought on and I have to say I don’t recall a single player having such an impression on the team and the Villa fans.
The latter immediately sprang to life and the team looked totally re-energized.
Benteke had 3 chances in a few minutes.
Co-incidence?
Not in my opinion. Kozac has a very tough job in being Benteke’s stand-in, to say the least.
Are we a one man team?
From what I saw today, I’d say we definitely are.
His arrival wasn’t enough to save us though and Spurs got a very good second goal.
No doubt some will say it was just poor defending, but sometimes teams simply get good goals and this was one of them.
I really don’t know how to sum it up, but the game just petered out for me after that.
We never really looked like getting ourselves back into it and ultimately you just have to say that Spurs were better than us on the day.
We play too narrow and just lack any quality.
But we work hard.
As for the shooting, many more lessons needed, in my opinion.
MOTM?
Probably Guzan, who made a couple of very good saves.
Very worrying that he gets the accolade again, as you really shouldn’t be relying on the goalie to keep you in it.
Thoroughly disappointed, as I really don’t think Spurs are that good.
Ah well, that’s the Villa for you.
I think it was Mark who came up with “Aston Villa: Believe”
I like that.
I don’t think we are a one man team. We just need more quality in Benteke’s absence. Kozac wasn’t great at supporting the build up. We need to be realistic and realise we don’t play in Spurs’ league currently.
Kozak is really poor, doesn’t contribute much towards play. whenever Helenius has played, I feel as though he contributes a lot more than Kozak, shame he isn’t given a chance
We gave the ball away to cheaply and made many passing errors.Gaining the ball then giving it away again. Some quality skillidge but that isn’t enough. We worked hard but never looked like we could get around their defence. We really need to work on our final 3rd attacking and passing in and around the area.We lacked creativity again looked shoddy and poor.Spurs didn’t look on it either boring game IMPO poor loss.Everton next now lose this one and we could be right back in the mire down the bottom……Did we really beat Man city at Villa Park?
Agree jay dee players can’t string 2 passes together and it’s the long ball all the time. We need a forward thinking foreign manager look at Swansea and Southampton they are both better equipped than is without spending a fortune.
I think we could do with a creative playmaker to play in behind Benteke UTV We also lack that real cutting edge….We are improving and are 5 points ahead on last season….But going by the way we played and you are as only as good as your last match we had a shit one today as we didn’t create a sausage did we….We could do with popping that ball around the box a bit more and getting behind defenders…..Need to do better…UTV
Lamberk has had over a year to get a creative midfielder but he got Kojak the statue instead. My 99 yr old gran has more pace than that lump
The fact that Luna was our most creative players says it all really.
We will NOT be relegated
P and P
Agreed, Langford; we won’t be relegated.
But we’re not very good are we? is the point.
When one of our most optimistic posters (along with your good self) in Jay Dee isn’t happy, you have to be a bit concerned mate.
We won’t be relegated because we are fortunate enough to have Christian Benteke. But when he moves to a club that matches his ambitions, we will be back to square one. Not being relegated has never been and never will,be an achievement for AVFC, no matter how low Lerner’s ambitions are.
It’s not that we lost it’s the way we lost no direction. Lambert has to go there is no improvement in home form and we are just as crap as last year at home to spurs. It is not Lerner’s fault lambert wasted money on Kozac where even a two year old can see we needed a dm and cm. I accept lambert only has limited funds but he surely we can do better than this mediocre dross. Why didn’t lambert get Barry on loan I have reliable info from ex villa player connected with club that Barry’s agent sounded out pl as he wanted to come bk to midlands but lambert was not interested. And with city paying some of his wage and sky money we could easily afford it lamberk out
Big deal so we finish bottom six again what’s the point
I hope youre right langford, we have quite a few problems, admittedly i didnt catch todays game but i can confidently guess at how it played out. We look worse this season and need to change things up big time. Investment in jan? I’d say yes, 2 quality signings dm and a number 10.
Right now i think we need to mix it up, a 442/4411. Give hzlenius an extznded run out behind benteke. Lowton back in with bacuna in the middle of the field with westy drop kea and delph, see how it works. Something, anything.
We don’t look worse than last year at all, and results and points prove this, although we are only marginally better which isn’t saying much.
Also, why on earth would you drop Delph? He’s been our best player this season and has been like a new signing.
Agree about delph and think Wev improved defensively this year but at the expense of not creating as much going forward. Lambert puts more players behind the ball because he dosnt trust defence which hampers us going forward
Pride and Prejudice?
I am beginning to lose the desire to travel for up to six hours and spend a hundred quid every fortnight to see a team and manager who give 100% knowing at the end of the day that we have suffered 4 years of utter shite and little (if any) sign of improvement!
Any club, amateur or professional, need to, at the very least, show some signs of ambition. If Benteke is sold in Jan or in the summer and a minimum of £30 million isnt spent(in addition to the Benteke money) then I will throw the towel in.
Its all getting abit pointless. How the fuck can 10 bob teams like Southampton, Swansea et al be that much ahead of us. I would prefer to drop a division or two like we did in the 70s and come back fighting with pride and ambition rather than just be content with a bottom 6 or 8 position.
Randy..”….. Your time is up..FFS at least make some sort of statement showing your financial plans to move this team forward, alternatively….fuck off
We will NOT be relegated……but that is NOWHERE NEAR good enough for our great club!
I can confirm this is the Langford that we all know.
Your comments worry me mate.
And me first time ever Langford and I agree he has woken up and smelt the coffee at last. Langford is a legend 😉
Fuck me Langford first time ever uv talked lots of sense. Couldn’t have out it better myself.
It’s just taken longer for Langfords patience to wear thin. My ST expired several years ago. And I’m a 1976 onwards fans, who’s obviously a glory hunter. For AVFC 2013, read Cleveland Browns.
If you can see any sort of distinction between us and them, then see your psychiatrist. Lerner has no idea, and will juat destroy us with his poor management.
I still think Langford has been abducted by aliens and had my negative brain implanted in him 🙂
Lol.. I have run out of happy pills. See you after we hammer the toffees next Saturday (or should that be toffee the hammers the week after). See how confused I am?
We will NOT be relegated, but that is NOWHERE NEAR good enough for our great club!
Daddy your back, fuckin hell I thought you had died, your son , me, was so upset I was going to believe Ooharh was god, kick the prick up the arse like you use to do. We are back….:-)
Now our fuckwit manager thinks we were unlucky to lose. Come back mclown all is forgiven http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2013/10/20/4347263/-?
Ha ha hopefully we will win next week it’s a winnable game for both teams IMO
Well put, Lambert’s getting worse and worse in the media, it’s pathetic. “We’re unlucky to lose” sounds so much like McLeish and his “this wasn’t a McLeish performance”.
how much have we spent in last four years to come up with that rubbish bar benteke what would we get for given bent hutton nzogbia etc we are going out at home for third year in a row to try contain spurs we have no midfield our strikers without benteke what is two goals between them in 8 matches
That was crap we didn’t worry them for a minute , unfortunately it looks like lambert has wasted 7m more of our scarce money on that big lump Kozak , a double decker bus moves better than him .
Exactly why didn’t he get Barry or a cm his priority is all wrong. Just clueless
Good call with Bacuna playing in the midfield MarkDNo8, he is one of the only players who have any composure on the ball but dropping Delph would be madness he is our midfield at the moment. The 4-3-3 formation doesn’t work at home, especially when the opposition have width, Townsend and Ben Arfa for example. Also when Andreas W and Gabby drop into midfield to receive the ball they are liabilities as they give it away more often than not, only one of them should play up front with Benteke in a 4-4-2. I would also give Tonev a run in a midfield of Tonev, Delph, Westwood and Bacuna
AndyB, I just don’t see Lambert having a clue atm. He’s just working with bargain basement stock like he’s been ordered to do. I don’t blame him for it necessarily, I’d eat shit sandwiches for £50k a week.
Yeah but we have to pay good money to actually watch those shit sandwiches
Problem with Delph is he thinks too much of his abilities. He’s a good player, very hard worker but he tries far too hard to impress and he loses the ball all the time in dangerous areas. He needs to calm it down massively or he should get dropped.
How the fuck will our defence cope with Lukaku ?
Luna is awful btw how he is considered an upgrade on bennet is beyond me. Vlaar another shit def header for their second goal. Defence is shit except for Guzan
I don’t think Luna was that bad, the same as I don’t think anyone did particularly badly today.
And he’s way better than Bennet, who is just totally out of his depth up to now, imo.
I think Luna is ok going forward but he got murdered second half.
Well put Badger. He didn’t do too bad against an incredible Townsend who is in terrific form. Townsend and Walker’s pace is a lot for just about any fullback to handle.
Luna was fantastic first half and only got murdered as his legs tired toward the end of the game, i’m not sure what you are seeing when we play OohAhh but you are well wide of the mark with your comments about him, sorry but he is a massive improvement over Bennett.
His legs were tired so that’s why he was shit second half so he’s got no stamina either pathetic
More worried about the defense against Baines. It’s a game where the Right Winger has too, HAS TOO, track back and defend against him. Bacuna’s good enough to handle a couple players but Baines is still another level above any LB in the EPL. A Baines and Mirallas Left Side is difficult for any defender to handle. Really worried about Barkley though.
I figured people would put down Kozak, although I think Badger put it correctly, he has a tough job. The problem is is that once Benteke came on, the team somehow figured “hey, supporting a striker might actually work”, Kozak has absolutely no support. Yes I think he should have beaten Dawson more than he did, but he had a decent game with no help at all going forward.
Fair point Andrew, but was it because the players have a strong belief that Benteke has a serious chance of getting a goal?
That’s how it struck me, fwiw.
I doubt anyone could say we weren’t immediately invigorated by Benteke coming on.
Possibly, it does dumbfound me though as the Czech Republic find a way to get Kozak in the game, Lambert should be able do it too. I’m not surprised Kozak lost against Dawson, Dawson’s a very physical defender in which Villa played to his strengths of constant crosses.
Obviously Benteke’s better and obviously the fans got far more into it with Benteke on the pitch, but Lambert has the duty to find a way to get the players into finally supporting Kozak. He has the ability but he’ll be just as useless as Bent if this doesn’t happen.
I wonder who will out score who on Saturday Benteke?orLukaku?
Or who’s the better goal keeper, Howard or Guzan. Should make things interesting.
Benteke because I will be screaming my heart out supporting him to score
I’m actually more worried about Everton at home than I was against Spurs today.
Depressingly, I can only see another defeat and our home form will prove to be the thing that leads to Lambert’s sacking, if I look into my crystal ball.
He simply has to sort it out, as it’s just not good enough and I can see it turning into a crisis.
You can’t possibly expect to stay up on away form alone.
But then I do think Lambert will be given the time as the next 6 games after Everton are all very much winnable. Problem is, again who comes in? Or do we allow Lambert all season, we definitely will stay up either way and then go for a different manager as it would be easier to convince a team to let one go? Still think our best shot is going for a foreign manager but that’s besides the point I guess.
1 thing about Everton compared to who we’ve faced though is that they always play open, and they’ve conceded as many goals as we have. So we can definitely score a couple against them. Will we win? It’s possible as while Lukaku’s form is borderline world class, their other strikers are terrible and Benteke should be fully fit. Sadly our midfield without Sylla will again get overran. Lambert should be sacked on that alone of dropping Sylla for Westwood who isn’t near good enough to play a counter-attacking style.
Thing is if (and it’s a big if) lambert got sacked then who would we get that’s any better. Having said that look at what Swansea and Southampton have achieved with their managers there must be another laudraup out there
The funny thing is though, is that Pochettino has only managed Espanyol in his career. He was a legend for them as a defender as well, but other than Espanyol and PSG, where he spent most of his European career, he hasn’t played or managed what most would consider “top clubs”. He also only had a 4 year National team stint for Argentina.
Laudrup’s managed Brondby, Getafe, Spartak, Mallorca and now Swansea. He even got the sack at Spartak. So it can’t honestly be that hard to find manager’s like them, but we can’t keep sticking with these crap British-based Managers. Yes Laudrup has an amazing player resume, his management resume wasn’t top notch until Swansea and won’t last much longer as he never stays any place long. We could find a host of Manager’s with such resumes, that play good football, have a track record and such. But we have to expand, like we have with the playing team.
Actually, I’m not sure I saw the same match as the rest of the gang here. I was watching in Sweden and the commentators of the game (one was the previous professional player Glenn Strömberg) were like me seeing a team that closed down Spurs completely with intensity and pressing. When we attacked we where attacking in a much more direct way than Spurs that passed a lot but moved forward too slow. A win for Villa or at least a draw would not have been wrong given the image of the game from my point of view.
Remember that this team is building in another way than Spurs right now, this is the Premier League, you cannot expect a project to fly to the top without Oil money… Tottenham has invested huge amounts in this team, partly because they sold their major asset to bigger fish remember… That our young team already, after only one season in the PL, the youngest team in the PL, can already scare the “currently” bigger teams like Arsenal, M City, Chelsea, Spurs is something that I’m able to actually be proud about!!
I think this game was a very good match from the team, it could have gone better given some luck. They where not outplayed by this expensive Spurs team from my point of view.
I get a bit sad about all the negativity when the team finally is on the right track under Lerner. He has spent loads and done mistakes in the past but now it looks like this project is moving in the right direction. If the team is moving up, it is in the right direction. All the money in the division from Sky et. al. makes all team competitive. You cannot think you have the right to a certain position because of history… This is tough, but Lambert has done fantastic in one season… Do you think its easy to run a club of this magnitude, to coach a club of this magnitude, do you think you would do it better?
I think not… Because if you could, you wouldn’t be doing what you currently do for a living. At least I wouldn’t…
Stop moaning for f..k sake and be proud of your club with a policy that promotes youth and some fire and fight. They do this and still compete in the league. That Lambert was able to stay in the division during this building project and come this far so quickly is utterly amazing. I’m not sure who other would have been able to do it to be honest…
UTV!!
Some good points Villa29, but I’ll just reply with our home record.
We’ve lost 3 out of 4, which is simply shocking, even if you factor in our tough start.
Yes, they’re young kids who are learning and generally doing pretty well, but it really doesn’t have to be this way.
Some of us have argued that we need more experience, which would help in turning losses into draws.
What we need is someone like… Cambiasso. Obviously never happening as he’s Inter through and through, but Inter went down I believe 7 minutes in to 10 men, was playing with a few kids and he dragged them on as a captain. We have no one in midfield like that. We have no one to calm Delph down as he’s not near good enough on the ball as he thinks he is and loses it constantly, Westwood is terrible on deadballs and too slow and I still like KEA but he’s not a leader, despite his age. Cambiasso got Taider playing so well that he was arguably the best player for Inter on the pitch until he came off. We need some sort of class like that. A Gerrard, Lampard, Flamini, Barry, Fernandinho, Carrick, Schneiderlin, type player.
I totally agree.
It’s not like they’re not out there, but it’s just that Lambert doesn’t want that type or Lerner simply won’t pay the wages.
Either way, it’s not good.
I gotta think it’s down to Lambert. While it’s obvious the wages are being lowered, they were being lowered under McLeish and he had no problem finding older players, while not quality, they were still being paid pretty well. Lambert needs to find young players, look what he did with Benteke, Benteke’s young, easily influenced and he stayed. If Benteke was 25, got the offer from Spurs, he’d have no doubt pushed and pushed and pushed to leave. But since he’s at a young age, he’s easier to manipulate. Having a big head in the locker room could ruin Lambert’s plans. Didn’t matter under O’Neill as it was even reported O’Neill didn’t show up to training a fair few times, Houllier’s a strong manager and put each and every player that went against him in their place and threatened to replace them and McLeish totally, totally lost the dressing room. Lambert doesn’t wanna follow suit.
But we actually have had a tough start, we have still beaten both Arsenal and M City. We should have gotten a better result against Chelsea if the well known incident gotten the correct decision. We pressed Liverpool second half and could have had more luck with that as well…
If we play like with did today against the middle and bottom teams of the division, to quote a well known individual; “I think we will be ok…”
Well put, don’t think we were as bad as people claimed. We kept Spurs to very few chances in the first half. Only one I really remember was Townsend’s 46th minute shot, other than his goal which was fortunate. We were good enough for a draw, especially if we had Bacuna taking corners rather than Westwood. Don’t get why Lambert waits a half to get Villa to push forward, Spurs were easily opened up, other than Dawson who had a brilliant game, their defense wasn’t good enough and their midfield was poor. Paulinho could have seen 2 yellows easily in the first half as well.
But since Villa lost, it’s not a “we are still getting better, going forward and against a weaker side, we’d win” kind of forum. It’s a “we lost, we’re shit, we were opened up, they had so many chances, we’re shit, we’re shit, the defense is shit, Villa suck, only Guzan’s good enough, Luna’s garbage, Vlaar’s shit, Baker’s shit, Delph is so fucking amazing, Kozak’s garbage” kind of thread.
LoL 🙂 Ditto.
Rubbish those players have been judged over a number of games not just today. A lot of the squad are judged over the past year and IMO this is how I rate.
Guzan very good and saved us from hammering a time again.
Lowton ok going fwd poor def deserved to be dropped
Baker improved but still makes to many mistakes
Clarke def improved this season
Vlaar def improved this season but still error prone ie always heads his clearances to opposition re their second goal but def better than last season
Bennet rubbish enough said
Delph most improved player in last year
Westwood looked decent to start of with but is out of his depth as a first teamer. Squad player at best.
Kea really undecided no quality , works hard and improved this year but still below average IMO
Gabby love gabby but he blows hot and cold.
Weimann another fav of mine but could do with being dropped for a bit just to take him out of firing line as it’s just not happening. Works incredibly hard for team and tracks back well
Benteke speaks for itself
Sylla hard worker but yet another quantity over quality signing
Now this seasons new players
Okore def the best of a bad bunch even though he is out for season he Shoukd come good
Bacuna not bad at right back average player
Tonev from what iv seen so far rubbish
Kojak how lamberk prefers him to bent is like MON preferring zat shite to Cahill ffs
Heleniys good touch for a big man but that’s it!!
Luna awful defender so far not just today but over the season simply not good enough but decent going forward
Agreed for most apart from.
KEA: Definitely has more quality than given credit for, can read the game quite well, is calm and collected and can pass pretty well. Also our only midfielder who isn’t afraid to have a shot still.
Sylla: We have an immense points to game ratio with him than without him. He’s far better than you give him credit for. He’s strong, good in the tackle, will take a player out, decent going forward, reads the game better than any midfielder we have.
Kozak: But I don’t think I’ll change anyone’s mind.
Luna: 100% different opinion on him defensively but I guess the same.
Bacuna: Far better than average. He rarely gets it wrong defensively as a RB, had Sigurdsson in his pocket all game.
Haven’t seen enough of Helenius.
I think the chants of ‘your shit and you know you are’ from Spurs fans sum up the situation perfectly. We’re dire at home, Lambert’s record is woeful and no amount of excuses can cover up the diabolical home form our fans have had to put up with for years now.
This team will achieve nothing. We can’t even take corners and throw ins properly FFS.
“Spurs were easily opened up, other than Dawson who had a brilliant game, their defense wasn’t good enough and their midfield was poor.”
Yep, I also agree with that, but if they were so poor, why couldn’t we beat them?
You can only come to the conclusion that we were poorer.
And to me, that’s the debate over, unfortunately.
We lost at home to a team that didn’t particularly play well; enough said.
We were poorer, but I do believe that’s still on Lambert. It’s why we could counter City so well, we didn’t attack in the first half, saved the energy and attacked the 2nd half for the comeback. Spurs got a lot better in the 2nd half and were easily opened up in the first half, even with Kozak and guess what? Villa wouldn’t do it, they could, but wouldn’t. Delph was easily running around the likes of Paulinho, Paulinho even could have gotten sent off. Bacuna had nothing to do against Sigurdsson other than a cross or two and could have easily gotten forward more, but it wasn’t until the 2nd half he was allowed too. Gabby and Weimann were pushed a little further up in the 2nd half, which is why we got opened up even more when Spurs got better, had more confidence. If Villa actually pushed in the first half, that Townsend goal probably wouldn’t have happened and we wouldn’t have a completely negative thread, a huge amount of arguments on facebook and players being called shit left, right and center even though they weren’t/aren’t.
“We can’t even take corners and throw ins properly FFS.”
I commented on the throw-ins last game and it pisses me right off.
Bacuna could easily have been pulled twice today for his throws, imo.
The mind just boggles when you can’t get such a simple thing right at this level.
Andrew, I prefer to think it’s down to Lambert too, but I’m not convinced.
As for MON never being at training, I read a story this week about one of the top managers in the game never being there (think it might have been Fergie, but I forget). That’s the difference between a manager and a coach, I guess.
I don’t share your liking of Houllier; I think he was a disaster, full stop, who caused a lot of rows and just walked away to leave his no2 to face the flak when it got fired back at him.
AM, quite simply no comment, as he isn’t worth it.
As for Lambert, I want him to do well, but I’m just not seeing it mate.
What happened to the nice one touch footy that we were promised?
I didn’t see much today and the truth is, as has been said previously, we struggle to make a pass, let alone a string of them.
Negative?
Probably, but I can only comment on what I see and simply will not try to dress up something that isn’t there.
I live in eternal hope when it comes to the Villa and as I said in the post, I like the “Believe” stuff
Yeah, but MON’s not a top coach, he didn’t live up to his promise at Villa, failed at Sunderland miserably. He got in that reported fight with Reo-Coker who didn’t agree with him.
I agree that Houllier should have faced the flak, but then again we at one time had 15 injuries (I believe was counted). This was the entire start of the whole change the squad thing, Houllier then got us back into 9th and had the likes of Gervinho (look what he’s doing at Roma) and Cabaye (Newcastle) about to sign for us. Those are the players we should be looking at, and while I like the young Villa, Cabaye’s one of those players that would get most teams going and could be our Gerrard like player if we had him.
I’m wondering that too. We go from counter attacking and doing well with the crap footballers we had, to playing real football, struggling and then finally understanding it, to counter attacking with players who wanna play real football, and struggling with counter attacking still. It makes NO sense at all why he’s changed back to the original tactics a lot of fans (not all, but a lot) wanted rid of, and when Villa were singing for him as Norwich ran circles around Villa with their passing. Something does tell me though that while Lerner did tell Lambert that last season would be his hardest season in football, Lerner wants something so much better this season and if Villa played football, it could happen, but Lambert doesn’t trust the players to do it.
I agree, though, and I might be negative about it too. But I still stand by me being against Lambert ever being appointed our Manager.
For me a houllier type manager is what we need. He did well with the youngsters and had good contacts but let himself down brown nosing up Liverpool’s arse whenever he could. Having said that he is easily the best manager wev had under Lerner and if he had kept his health I think we would be a top 6 team now
Totally agree. I mean hell, weren’t we even linked to Benzema on loan in January before we signed Bent? He had the youngsters actually playing football instead of learning a hoofball type and actually used his scouts instead of claiming he can’t sign anyone of the players his scouts recommended and had his own scout quit and leave. He’s now running academies in Germany, Austria, the US, Ghana and Brazil. Wouldn’t mind the link of Red Bull’s taking over Villa (didn’t change the names of the Austrian or German team name) if we could get Houllier running our academy.
One thing I can’t believe was McLeish not signing Bradley for 5m. He was amazing at Chievo and now Roma (though injured and Roma’s midfield is so good he’ll struggle to replace any of them).
Villa Red Bull Park?
Red Bull’s yet to change either Salzburg or the German team (can’t remember) that they fund that Houllier runs the academy of so I do doubt it would change.
Pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down, don’t let this put a dent in our season
We played well for some of the game today. Spurs to me are real title contenders, so nothing to be ashamed of.
Everton on Saturday, let’s be vocal
Aston Villa. Believe. 🙂
Come on boys positive positive positive 🙂
No way in a million years are spurs title contenders they will be lucky to get fourth. Arsenal, city, Chelsea and Liverpool are all better IMO and you can still never right utd of even though they are not the team they were
Either you stand on B6 on Saturday at 3pm and sing your heart out…….
or come on here and slag off a team you love?
YOUR TEAM NEEDS YOU SO STOP BEING A GONAD (YES YOU! ) AND BUY YOUR TICKET FOR SATURDAY
The Spurs loss us behind us so let’s drop all this keyboard warrior bollocks and put our vocal chords where our fingers are.
VTID
Yes, talking about Bent.
How did he piss PL off?
It just escalated from him bring captain, to being not captain, to him pulling his face and it kicked off from there. A staff member who I know at BMH said he was purposely being a C*NT trying to force a move. There was lots of swearing involved. People think he was the perfect pro, that was down to him watching his disciplinary so he was not fined.
Probably true mark but sounds like lambert contrived the situation to piss him off and it worked. Lambert coukd have fought for him and put him bk in the fold but didn’t
Weimann and Westwood need a reality check …… And Kozaks dire. Was Gabby injured to be pulled off?
