I’m all for conspiracy theories, but Senderos can’t play for the first team as he was omitted from the 25 man squad [yet we spent £2m on Lescott] and Siegrist has a broken arm, so no way these 2 players are getting anywhere near the first team.

As much as I didn’t want sendeross to come to avfc, at the start of the season he actually looked pretty good! You could tell he reads the game fairly well just lacks pace, I could imagine him and Richards working quite well, wont happen obviously but just got me thinking. Kozak has done nothing wrong at all so there is no harm in giving him a few games. Same with Okore hopefully his time will come soon, he should be more match fit now. I would 100% try llori at right back instead of hutton, he really cant be any worse!!

I remember that both Vlaar and Senderos were very solid together, but after the first two months (were we actually played well) the pair didn’t really play again today. Which was a shame.

Senderos is much better than Lescott, from what I’ve seen.

Spot on Bencey83, I don’t want to sound like a broken record but I posted several comments saying how I didn’t rate Lescott, before and since we signed him. His best days are way behind him, Tony Pulis knows a good defender when he sees one, that’s why he let him go!

all starting to turn a bit sour at the moment. Ts is a manager with a bit of swag who can talk the talk. All this unfortunately however does not translate on to the field and his tactics week in week out are baffling to all of us. No football team can be this far into a season and not know their startin 11, you’re asking for relegation if you keep chopping and changing the line up and “systems” all the time. Players in the dressing don’t know what they’re supposed to do and/or are told to do something different each week which leads to massive inconsistency, from there the players themselves become fed-up and start to lose confidence in each other on the pitch and then the manager and staff. It’s a downward spiral from here and soon comments from the manager will be against the players and “for the fans” which will continue the spiral! A fan of Sherwood when he arrived, he has to go now and we need a good tactically sound proven manager (haven’t we for years ffs). Houllier would still in my opinion be at the club and we’d be in a right healthy position if he wasn’t sick. Ranieri could just be the best appointment of the year! Guy has bag loads of experience knows the premier league and tactically one the best around out of the older heads. Missed a big one there…sad days…this will be the year if we don’t act now
