Adam i could have told you that yesterday we have been lied to yet again by Lamberk the man as tunnel vision all we will be getting is yet another third rate player in Hoolahan and if Norwich will not sell then don;t think we will see anybody coming in.All he as done is linked us to players whom we all know will never come to VP just to keep the Lemmings on his side and keep himself and his cronies in a job.

Exactly right the media linked us which is why it’s obvious he’s not coming as they’ve linked him to 3-4 other clubs. Lazy journalism yet again

Lambert said he was looking at a few Experienced players! Now his said his looked at tried to do some think but that wasn’t possible, ok so what now? He knows what is Desperately needed in our team, I’m not very football minded but surly as the seasons gone on his earmarked a few players from here an abroad as Potential/future targets? Surly as a manger that’s what you do your constanly looking to strengthen or add quality to your squad! Ok his looked at players an we all hear the rumours but he must have more players earmarked that’s just common sense isn’t it.

Seems AVFC are struggling to sign anyone.Club owner void of ambition and not willing to spend proper funds for the club he owns for the size & tradition.Im sick & tired of the penny pinching & total lack of disrespect Lerner shows his TOY AVFC.I don’t blame Lambert he could do better,is trying & I suspect wants to win things.Im behind Lambert as what he is dealing with is tough enough for anyone.Lerner out….UTV

Christ lambert sack it off you div! Norwich are never going to do business with you, understandably really, its not like they’re desperate for the massive 1 million dollars. sack it off its embarrassing, the can stick wes hoolahan up their arse as far as im concerned.
move on to other targets that we’ve(as matt rightly said)earmarked.
please tell me we’ve earmarked other potential players to approach, and I mean ‘experienced quality’ players too!

The more this goes on the more its getting comical, its now at a stage that Lambert as lost it completely, Aston Villa through him as made the club a laughing stock to the name of football, what a state to be in. God knows how we are going to get out of footballers and clubs that have turned on us.

Nm if we’re putting pocket change offers in for players don’t expect quality mate.what budget has he been given 2mil for 2 quality no 10’s & lerner expects some change.it’s downhill all the way in my book.bollox to it.

me too jay dee, im sick of being aston villas accountant, constantly having to make excuses because of the wage bill, blah, fuckin blah, its not our fault yet we have to put up with this embarrassing crap.
there is no balance at all, its football suicide, its horrible to watch and often an embarrassment.

Well well i see JAY DEE and his mate are still defending their man by saying he would do better if he had more money to spend. So far he as had more money than he would ever had to spend at Norwich and what as he done with it I WILL TELL YOU wasted it as not a clue what he is doing. Is single handedly killing off a great club cannot attract quality players to the club as in my opinion they don;t want to play shit tactics and don;t want to play with the lower league dross he as filled the club with. Now JAYDEE will you still back him when our club is finely dead and buried because of LAMBERK.No body comes in of note this window and we can all say goodby to premier league football at VP for decades to come.

terry, would you like to point out which part of my post is defending lambert.
and for the millionth time the 40 mil lambert has spent he has had to get in a whole new squad, not just one or 2 players making our transfers in average of about 2/3 mil per player not exactly given the tools to do the job really has he?

Terry got to admit mate you’re not as daft as I thought ( in a nice way mate) your fucking dead on, Lambert is taking us out of football as we know it, the man has to stop now and run Villa as its been over as history says we was, I wish I knew what to do about my club other than stop going , which I have, Terry we are in big trouble big time.

You’re not far off on that Terry, I bet you any money it will be last minute buying and it will be panic buy. He is and will be the worst manager Villa has ever had in history.

Bill mate to tell you the truth i have a nagging feeling these links were just a whitewash saying he was going for quality this time round to keep his followers on board and keep himself and his cronies and relatives in a job.He knows get the sack from VP and he is finished only ever to manage in none or lower league football.

Just like a primary school kid caught by teacher, when Lambert has a microphone in front of him he cannot lie with conviction. Hence the incoherent mumbling – Christ I’m Scots myself and I don’t catch it.

It is part of the job to have your excuses ready. Arsene Wenger: claim you did not see it, José Morinho: blame the press, MUFC boss: Never admit you were fairly beaten, blame the referee. Lambert – if he cannot come up with as transparent an excuse as those – shows that he really is not thinking from ko to final whistle.

Think about it, when was the last time you saw a passage of play and thought, they have worked on that in training?

fair point London lion. the interview after(Christ I forget which game now because the results and post match interviews are all the same)lambert mumbled the usual but it was worse mumbling than usual, he could barely say the words ‘we go again’ although he still did say them ffs!, I think it was the palace game actually, it was very sad and laughable at the same time, in fact I did laugh.
