Reading some of the comments on here we really over the past few days and considering the recent goings on at VP have to ask if some Villa suffer from delusions of grandeur with regards to AVFC and our present plight.
The same old same old pro Lambert/Lerner arguments as the club goes into meltdown, it’s like watching an old librarian totally wrapped up in his own little world busily putting his books in order, oblivious to the alarm bells, smoke fire and chaos as the library burns down around him.
Mention Tony Pulis and that’s it; toys, dolls, dummies and bottles come flying out of prams, it’s complete and utter footballing snobbery!
Well breaking news peeps working on budget can you name me a better one? You won’t get any better, the guy deserves manager of the season for what he’s achieved at Palace and the legacy he left at Stoke is much under estimated.
Tony Pulis down at VP? I’d take him in heartbeat given our present financial restraints and given his track record and at least VP would be a fortress again.
With suggestion of a rift between him and Simon Jordan might not now be a good time to try and tempt him to VP?
Sorry but you can’t agree with Lerner’s austerity measures and then expect to attract Rafa the Gaffer or Gus Hidink and then watch Barcelona type football; you just can’t have it all.
As Original London Lion said in a post, get the stability and move forward from there.
