Just had a look Hitch, it seems he was respected in his youth years, the thing is foreign people tend to disrespect our way of life, still I’m at a loss with him on his decisions of his team selection, whats the answer ? Not a clue.Hitch.

Bill, I think the Leicester game and post match criticisms of his substitutions knocked the stuffing out of him – people say he’s cocky, even arrogant but that sometimes can be a cover for someone who’s not quite as confident as they make out – I do have personal experience of this. I honestly believe Sherwood has temporarily lost his self belief and its up to the Board and Wilkins to rebuild that for him. I think the fans can forgive losing if we are playing exciting attacking football – isn’t that why we were all ( except Oohah) excited by his appointment. My optimism is back (at least for 24 hours 🙂 ) – onwards and upwards. UTV

No we won’t forgive him for playing attacking football. Attacking football without a win is pointless literally!

WOW hitch you do sound optimistic MATE I hope you don’t come down to earth with a huge bang.I believe just think the worst then anything else will be a bonus but fairplay to your temporary positivity if that is the case. 😀

I think Adam’s assessment is quite correct; there may not be a ‘two-match ultimatum’ from above, but if the team can’t show something very positive from these two games then the whole ‘should he stay/should he go’ debate could become academic – Sherwood will be destroyed and may well walk away from the mess if he realises that he can’t sort it.

So realistically who are some managers who would be available/interested right now if the club sacks Sherwood?

Rodgers, Moyes (apparently), Di Matteo, Dyche, Montella, Garde, Galtier?
