The site is temporarily broken and I’m struggling to restore it.

I might be able to fix it, but I’m not a website author and am having to try and learn rapidly.

I’ve got the old site backed up, but I’m not sure if it’s going to help.

For info, (for anyone who might be able to help) I’ve been forced to update the PHP version and the old theme is not compatible with it.

Guest, if you read this can you mail me at Badger123@astonvillanewsandviews.co.uk please to give me a bit of advice?

Otherwise, I’ll sort it out as quickly as I can.

    I’m confused. Nothing was working a few minutes ago and now things seem to be okay, albeit the appearence has totally changed.
    I’m at least encouraged now.

    Badger you’ve lost all your styling. I’ve used WordPress for many years now but haven’t seen this. Perhaps look in ‘Appearance’ and see what’s selected?

      I know, it’s the result of binning the outdated theme.

    Is there a tick box that reads ‘Aston Villa are the greatest football team ever’?
    Maybe that’s the issue?
