Sunderland – Villa; Should be straightforward (Ahem)

Well, on paper, it should be shouldn’t it?
Sunderland are bottom of the table and their main problem seems to be that they concede too many goals.
Ok, they might play decent stuff at times, but they don’t get results and have drawn three and lost three in their last six games.
Hence we really ought to win this and I fully expect us too.
If we don’t, we’ll be putting ourselves under undue pressure, as you can bet Cardiff will beat Barnsley and Fulham will beat Sheff Utd.

In squad news, Chelsea’s loan defender Jake Clarke-Salter is serving the second game of a three match ban.
Kazenga LuaLua may be available after an ankle injury. Paddy McNair is out with a groin strain.

As for us, Jack Grealish is a maybe. Axel Tuanzebe has been struggling with a hamstring strain, but could also make the squad but Alan Hutton is doubtful.

Oops, the team line-up is out, which shows how late I am;

Aston Villa

1 Johnstone
27 El Mohamady
5 Chester
26 Terry
3 Taylor
7 Snodgrass
6 Whelan
14 Hourihane
37 Adomah
45 Grabban
9 Hogan

Substitutes

8 Lansbury
10 Grealish
15 Jedinak
18 Onomah
20 Bjarnason
31 Bunn
39 Davis

Which should be plenty to get the win.

I’m going 2-1 to us

UTV!

Easy peasy. It’s going to be tight to the end. If we want to go straight up we will need to win our games against our rivals.
