So Jack Grealish is to remain on loan at Notts County until the end of the season. He, Gary Gardner and Carruthers should have been played on Saturday in my opinion. When are we ever going to find out if these guys are good enough? Donacian should have been given a run out as well, especially after Baker dropped out. If the academy guys are not up to playing against a league one team then serious questions need to be asked. TBF they surely couldnt have done alot worse!

Ted Lerner as made mistakes in Mc clueless i agree but the mess we are in now is solely Lamberks and those of you whom wanted him.Now as for Lerner out who the hell would you have own the club some bloody Carsen Yuenge or some body like Steve Morgan at Wolves how much as he invested.Mate your argument as more holes in it than a cullinder or maybe seeing you are so intent in defending Lamberk is your name really Ted or Paul Lamberk.

Interestingly, Hoolahan has averaged about 1 goal in 6 games for Norwich. Anyone know the stats for our current midfield?

Terry you continue to prove my point and show contradiction. I agree Lambert has not been a success and needs to go. BUT you blame me for supporting him. One person is supporting him, the man who employs him. If as you say Lambert is to blame why can’t Lerner see this? Your at odds with your views, Lerner employs Lambert to deflect from himself. Lerner out

TED did i persificly say i blame you no and as for Lerner he only employed him on the back of a certain section of fans chanting his name.We all know who Lerner really wanted but at that time he reclined the job i am not by any means sticking up for Lerner he only gave the fans their choice.Yes he employs him and as given him is full backing. But those fans whom thought he was the answer to our woes are as much to blame as Lerner the only way now IMO is a clear out from top to bottom new owner or owners whom do know something about football and are prepared to install a manager with likewise knowledge.

So many people saying Wes Hoolahan to be announced a Villa player in the next 48 hrs please tell me this isn’t true

Not sure what you have against him JayDee. I think he is a decent player. Has proven he can play at this level so at the cost is a no-brainer to me. We need more than just him though. Can’t see Defour coming but if we got someone of his calibre as well we would see a real improvement.

ted, you seem to say that anyone calling for lamberts head is learners best mate which is just not true, the same as it isn’t true that anyone who says anything remotely positive or optomistic about villa is supporting lambert or a ‘lamberk lemming’. I think the majority of people on here realise they’re both shit!
and terry you cant seriously be suggesting that learner only got lambert in just because the fans wanted him in, he got him in because it suited him to do so and(for some reason)was already a popular choice among ‘some’ fans. if our influence were that easy to impilment then lambert would’ve been sacked after the Bradford debacle and learner would’ve got in mouriho or klopp and started throwing around man city type money.
I fear we’re stuck with the pair of em for a good while to be honest.

OGS was given time to mull over the position but declined eventually due to not wanting to uproot the family.pretty ironic 18mths later he’s living in wales oh well.obviously cardiff was a better option.

Rather than all this bullshit speculation where only pound land signings if any come we Shoukd discuss why lamberk has not been sacked and being given money in the first place. It’s all if a sudden gone quiet on lambert we have to keep the pressure on until the mumbling mutt heat head goes

Terry, you were probably fishing at the final game of McLeish’s reign, it was Norwich away and it was the whole away end that were chanting for Lambert who was incumbent at Norwich at the time.

He was a popular choice but things really are looking poor at this moment in time.

I doubt that relegation is likely, get on at 10/1 if you think it is.

As for Lerner, he had a go at throwing money at the top four finish like confetti and ended up with over priced mediocrity on huge wages that took three seasons or more to clear.

It’s easy to forget that as fans and scream that we should go spend crazy again, where does the money come from mate ? Your gate receipts ?

We all want better for our wonderful club, but let’s hear some sensible suggestions, all I hear from you and your cronies is Lamberk and Lerner out ?

    Then what wise guy ???

Vaze i was out of the country at the time but still read the papers and caught up with things on line. Now answer me this why did Lerner send his private jet to bring OGS for an interview if he had no intentions of offering him the job and why did he suddenly turn his attention to Lamberk instead of scouring the continent for a replacement for Mc Clueless.I will tell you because he was swayed by those fans chanting Lamberk,s name in hindsight we can all see this was a mistake and he should have bought in a manager from abroad. This is yet another one of Randy Lerner,s bloomers for not having anyone on the board that knows about football.

Sir Oohah the great Lamberk as not been sacked because Randy gave those fans who seen him as the Mesiah the man they chanted for i bet right now he is having a right old laugh at them as our club and fans are being humiliated time and time again.
