“#Helenius” gives his opinion on what we need;
It’s obvious to each and every Villa fan that filling a squad with ‘Young and hungry’ kids does not, has not and never will completely work.
It’s also obvious to us all that we desperately need to buy and buy well in the coming transfer window….
So, assuming (massive assumption) and hoping Lerner tends to all our needs, removing Lambert (and staff) & Faulkner and replaces with whoever – Then invests again in whatever the new manager needs…..
Here is my select few loans/buys, a mix of experience and flair. I believe the right selection of this bunch could well see us out of trouble and help rebuild this team, and I also think they are realistic candidates too……Please comment and also add your own views on who, realistically could we get at The Villa.

Defoe – Proven experienced goalscorer
Shawcross – Leader, experienced
Cattermole – Leader, experienced
Parker – Leader, experienced, would die for his teamates
Ince – Unproven a Prem level but incredibly talented
Guidetti – BETTER THAN BOWERY
Cresswell – Good young full back who can actually defend, though unproven at PL level

They need more than £3.50 a week in wages though
In the summer we could have got Barry, Livermore, Caulker, Puncheon now i know people will dispute these players but they would have done a job at Villa and improved this shower of shit of a squad

We have a rich owner, who needs to change his philosophies. I’m not saying we need to buy ALL the players, far from it but I think a handful of these would see us becoming a good side again.
Loan deals for players who need the experience like Zaha and Guidetti, players like your Rodwells (with option to buy) who are decent but need games.
Lerner wouldn’t need to break the bank for these.
IMO it needs to be done or we will be struggling in the Championship this time next year

Buy all of them! But then we would have to leave out so many talented players that we already have……Luna, Lowton,Sylla, Westwood, Bowery, Bennet,Baker,…….why relace these young, hungry and cheap lads with experienced PL players….thats not in Randy’s master plan…..:)
What happened to N’Zog? Is he gone? I thought Defoe was off to Canada or somewhere like that.
It just occurred to me, why Bowery yesterday and not Helenius? Will we ever see him play?

Maybe lambert weren’t overstruck on his selection of under garment,fuck nows why he isn’t been given a chance i ask myself why bother buying a player who never seems to get a look in absolutely baffling.
Rodwell or Zaha on loan may be a good shout. Ince would be a good signing. I cant see Lescott now, he started yesterday. What is sad is that a few years ago, these would have been possible targets for us to buy, now we can only get most of them on loan.
Realistically though, if Lambert is still in charge we will end up with a couple of unknowns-probably strikers!

AVFC will not be relegated this season. we are 1 of 10 teams that are in the mix (half the league) just because we have lost the last 4 doesn’t mean a thing. . west ham also cant score goals.. crystal palace will go down which leaves 2. Fulham, west brom, sunderland, Swansea are all down there with us.
Rodwell, zaha, guidette all no unless we are buying them which we definitely will not! Defoe cattermole no thanks! lescot, parker, shawcross no hope! Ince and cresswell would be good signings but probably out of our price range how sad is that…just because the young and hungry transfer policy isn’t working doesn’t mean we should go back to old English crap lookin for a final pay we tried that too and failed, i think young and hungry can work but it has to be young hungry and talented! Players who already hav quality not young hungry and cheap!
You would say no to Roswell and Zaha? Why? they would be our 2 best players by a country mile and could do us wonders. I for one would do anything to keep us up, unless we get these types in, we are doomed! Are you also saying we shouldn’t get experience players in? Defoe scores goals….do you not want goals? The only two are the unproven ones……Are you a relation to Lambert?
I wouldn’t say no to any player of that quality but i would much prefer to buy those players instead of paying for another that is only a quick fix, i just want us to spend proper money on proper players! 2-3 decent players would make a massive difference instead of 6 might be good in a few years players and Defoe is a player already over the hill and would want massive wages and at least a 3 year deal, like said we have been down that road and it only leads to the road we are on at the moment! Again i would like experienced players but at the 26 to 29 age not 30-33 but i would still not mind a 20 to 24 year old bought as long as they are already proven players like ince, huges, draxler, praet, salah, all young proven players that yes would cost money but none would be much more than 10 mill and are on pretty low wages
