Man city 3 -2 Villa; I’m absolutely Gutted

What’s to say?

We were the better side overall in my assessment and I was sat with a (genuine, long time) Citeh fan who actually agreed with that opinion.

That’s quite simply one of the most unjust results I can ever remember and there’s no way we deserved to lose that game.

I’m frankly heartbroken at the moment and may or may not update this.

Fair play to the team, is all I can say at the moment.
Talk about having the wind knocked out of your sails 🙁

@Badger Good point about Pellegrini saying it was their worst performance.

I’m getting a feeling of deja vu here, didn’t Rodgers say the same thing after the semis and didn’t Pocchetino say the same thing after we beat Spurs?

Mmmm…do I detect a pattern in all this?

Must admit that while we threw away three points I still find myself with a smile on my face. There were periods in that game when we played the best football I’ve seen for yonks. We dominated City in midfield and made them look very ordinary. Bodes really well for our remaining games.

BTW any comments yet from those who said that City would batter us?

Really looking forward to the Everton game…so long as Given starts that is.

    UTV

Man city have been awful this season considering the players they’ve got. Even burnley cane bk to draw 2.2 and Stoke won there. Sunderland also came bk from 2 down only to lose 3.2

Ah would ya c’mon Ooh ahh, .. you are going over the line of prompting debate to being a WUM,
I know you want the comments and site traffic etc(it doesn’t have to be for money, I assume you took over this site to see it continue?)
But this is just childish “whatever you say, I say the opposite”, there is no logic to it, there is not football behind it, and its every single post, Which site are you copying this approach from? or where are you getting this inspiration from?

We were the better team overall but some shocking defending cost us in the end. We should have shut up shop at 2-2 and taken what would have been a great point….just a shame we didnt.

Going forward we looked great, and Grealish is starting to come into his own. I know what Sherwood was thinking bringing back Sanchez but i dont think we needed to, Nzogbia ran them ragged when he came on.

Gotta be honest though, both Sanchez and Richardson worry me when they are playing. Both always seem to have a mistake or a lapse of concentration in them…I would keep them out of the team for the last few games as we just cant afford any more mistakes. Cissokho and Westwood are definitley more reliable even if less creative.
