Karsa and Culverhouse confirmed sacked; Drugs?

The Press Association and the Mail are reporting that Paul Lambert’s assistants have indeed been sacked, just as the speculation has been saying.
What the reports are not saying however are the reasons, other than Lerner’s quote that it was something that “could have set the club back”.

We know there were accusations of bullying, but I don’t particularly see how this would have set the club back in the way it was inferred.

Of course, the illegal taking of drugs would indeed set a club back.
We do also know that it was reported that senior members of a major football club were allegedly spotted sniffing something in an opposing team’s boardroom.

I’m putting two and two together and guessing Karsa and Culverhouse were indeed the subjects of the report.

Now while I have a major dislike of illegal drugs for various reasons, I also take the view that what people do in private, is entirely up to them.
Except this wasn’t in private, was it?
How ridiculously stupid to get caught as they were.
Hence good riddance, if indeed it was them.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this was the reason that Lerner finally decided to throw in the towel.
While I’m not exactly sure of the timeline of things lately, Randy must have at least been wondering what the hell is going on at the club (along with most of us fans).

Just my own personal opinion, which could well be wrong, of course.

Why on earth would Lerner sack Lambert? The other two presumably went without compensation. Lambert would have to be paid off. Then who do you think we could get in to replace him? Would anyone of any quality want the job with no money to spend and an owner committed to selling?

Does that make me a Lambert luvvie? Get real. We are stuck as is until a buyer comes, but that’s only days away isn’t it Ianrobo? It must be because you said so.

I don’t think that Ianrobo deliberately means to mislead people, but he does get carried away with himself at times.

He gets lost in that place between what you’d love to happen and the ideal way that things can turn out, and searching hopelessly for proof that it’s happening/happened.

Like the bloke who has final categoric proof that there is alien life visiting our planet when a stray Chinese lantern from a wedding floats over.

I do like the way that those with the anti-management stance label anyone else as Lerners apologists, or Lambert luvvies now, and didn’t we have lemmings or something ? They hate you to take any view other than theirs of everyone out.

We’ve been definitely being relegated for three seasons, and all sorts.

You just know that when we do change ownership in July ’32 when William V snaps us up they’ll all be on screaming ‘I told you so’ lol !

It’ll all come out in the wash, just hope we get a custodian of the club that keeps the wonderful Aston Villa tradition and has the fiscal strength to grow the team. *

    * No, I haven’t heard anything, the club accounts or appointment of Lerner’s own bankers don’t ‘give it away’ lol !

    Enjoy the Bank Holiday chaps.
