Tom has sent the following, which I suspect will chime with many of us;
Well I’m not admitting defeat just yet but it’s looking more and more likely to me that we will go down. It will be down to a lot of things from poor spending, limited funds, terrible management, tactics, talent and so on.
To think where we were just 4 or 5 seasons ago breaks my heart but now ….I’m ready for the drop.
A bold statement yes and possibly I’m one of many whose expectations have been dropped. So why you ask?
It’s not rocket science, I just want to see my team show some passion, desire and I want to be entertained. I’m relieved when the Mrs plans a day out on Saturday afternoon, I’m relieved when I’m watching the football on the laptop and buffering kicks in too much to watch it.
I now want a complete clear out at aston villa. I want the youth to come through and build together, I want a talented and loyal core to the team. It’s sad as I think Tom fox is a great but it may have been the wrong time to bring him in.
The premier league is becoming more and more pathetic, the money spent on average players, the hype of the sky four , the affairs and behaviour of players who are role models to our children. How disconnected do we feel from our club now?
