I remember well what he did to Shane Long. He should have been red carded and banned. I think that was the match Herd was sent off but can’t be sure. I’m afraid I’m no fan of Hutton.

Hutton have you got no shame? You are a laughing stock in the professional game. Offer to leave on a free to restore some pride in your second rate career.

How you can take £2+ million pound a year to sit on your backside and train with the under 21’s when organisations like Acorns struggle to meet their target funding is just about everything which is wrong with this world.

Feel for the lad, never given a chance and hated simply because he was Mcleish signing.

I don’t feel for this guy at all. Sits around traning with kids picking up his pay cheque. If he was interested in playing football and furthering his career he would leave on a free. Plus he’s a completely shite footballer.

He was given a chance BWS.
Plenty by Mcshite, but never looked any good, imo.

Add Given to the list too, as he’s been told he can piss off at the first chance he gets, according to the Mirror. Two hopes for both, given the stupid wages.
Not that I blame them for refusing to leave for less.

I’d suggest MON paid over the odds for a massive push for the CL at a club which was not fashionable and didn’t suit the sky books, which ultimately failed, whereas these two players contributed absolutely nothing, when we were struggling.

I can’t put into words what I think about the bloke that ok’d these deals, as it would be seen as threatening.
Suffice to say, I don’t think Mcshite is a very good manager.

Add N’Zog to that list too.
If he gets another game for the Villa, I’ll dance naked around the Bull ring.

And some of us are still slating MON for his buys????
At least we got money back for most of them.

id have to disagree about given contributing nothing when we were struggling ooah, just for the record I firmly believe we’d have gone down without him during the McLeish season.
I do however firmly agree about the bloke that ok’d the deals, every player in Europe must have saw villa as a soft touch.
as for zog, I think moost of us were very happy to see him come to villa, I for one thought it would be a really good signing but it hasn’t worked out, god knows why, the big fish/small pond to smaller fish/bigger pond theory is the only one that makes sense but its a poor excuse although he did play better last season under lambert, not great but defo better.

Zog is no worse than what’s replacing him and should be given a run. Just because Mckeish signed him dosnt mean he’s shit.

Oohah, you’ve often said how you rate AM and I find it strange.
You’re definitely in a minority and I can see why.
He was a shocking appointment mate, simple.
And not because of his Blues link.

I never rated mcleish but I don’t see him as any worse than lambert. We just never gave him a chance because if his blues connection. Fwiw we all wanted zogbia and he has more quality that all lamberts midfielders put together. Defensively we were better under Mckeish yes we defend better now but lambert has had more time than AM. Hutton was not that bad a signing at least he got stuck in and fought for the cause he is a better defender than lowton but prob not as good going forward. Under lambert we are just as boring on occasions especially at home though I accept we are more exciting away. We only finished a few points higher last year with the worse gd ever worse defence ever and worse ham meetings ever. We are doing better this year granted but we have had a fair amount of luck and it’s unlikely it will last plus a lot of top teams are in transition which is a luxury am never had. Look how much Southampton have progressed in 9 months that’s what you call good management from top to bottom.

It’s easy to defend well with 11 men behind the ball.
            Remember the Spurs game?
I’ve never been so disgusted in the way the Villa approached a game in my 45 years+ of having been a fan.
What saddens me the most is that even noses were telling me what an anti-football manager AM was.
            Just an awful appointment, imo.

Can’t disagree with those lows under Lambert you (sort of) mention though. They’re quite simply facts, that can’t be denied.
