Let’s hope for Lambert & Lerners sake that they both do good business for AVFC

I think you mean recalling Tom Carroll. Harry Kane is a striker who is currently still at spurs.

Bullshit Bullshit Bullshit the whole lot is a fucking joke a farse some people will believe anything as long as it is what they want to hear. The last three posts on here i am taking with a pinch of salt.Nothing is going to happen to change our fortunes around not unless a new owner or owners come in with footballing knowledge and bring a likewise manager with them.

The only way a Wes Hoolahan deal would go through is if he hands in a transfer request. I’ve seen the Guardian – Telegraph twitter comments, but there really is no other way. Like mentioned above the Norwich board hates Lambert and I doubt Hughton will want to upset the fan base for letting one of their fan favorite players go. This way Norwich will just say they did all they could to keep him even though it’s pretty obvious they’ve marginalized his role in the team.

Holtby – I rate him, but Levy is the reason why I just can’t see it happening. Who knows though Spurs have always horded midfielders and they definitely owe us for establishing Walker, buying Hutton, and the whole Jenas fiasco.

Trouble is if levy does us a favour he will expect one back with Benteke

Apparently we only offered £750k for Hoolihan – Laughable. Did they really think they’d accept that with Lambert and Norwich history??!!??

I just read this… sounds like something any club would do, especially us, but given the bad blood I’m not surprised Norwich would be insulted. Now I just hope the club can move on to the next name rather than tool around like Moyes did this summer. Plus I had no idea the whole Steer tribunal still needed to happen, I thought for sure it was all done and dusted.

It’s all part of the game. When a club comes in for our £25m striker bent eke in summer they will probably offer us £15m and we end up with £20m and a few add ons. They prob want about £3m for him so wdl will prob pay 1.5-2m

Who knows? If Hoolahan is unhappy he will push for a move. If that is what we offered it is pretty low for someone with 2 years left on his contract. However, if he isn’t wanted and is on reasonable wages Norwich might save maybe £2M+ across those two years. Maybe a deal would happen if the/ price is raised a bit. He is 31 so it’s not a long term fix. I doubt if Norwich would feel that not offloading a player they don’t want (just to spite Lambert) makes good commercial sense. Selling to someone else bidding more (or even the same) would make more sense perhaps.

hoolahan has put in a transfer request so it looks to me like it will be happening.
although Norwich don’t have to accept it of course.

and that said with all due respect to hoolahan he’s no lescott, holtby or defour.
I do hope we are seriously pursuing other targets aside from the Bradford lad too, its all looking a bit disappointing so far as our interest in hoolahan and the Bradford target is everywhere but news about holtby, lesscott and defour seems to be fading fast where we are concerned.

NAUGHTIUS mate the media will link anybody to any club just to get people to read their rag seven days into the Jan transfer window and all we have is speculation and that,s all that is going to happen. There is one certainty though unless there management change or even both ownership and management change all we have to look forward to at VILLA is more dispair.
