Jack Grealish, who recently signed a 4-year deal with the club is very much under Paul Lambert’s plans this season as Villa are set to reject a loan bid from Nottingham Forest.
Grealish has already featured in 5 games for Aston Villa this season and their ought to be more appearances coming up for the young midfielder. Grealish spent last season on loan at Notts County were he scored several goals and ultimately helped Notts County avoid relegation. Now, Championship clubs are interested in bringing Grealish over for a short-term deal.
“I know I have to continue to kick on and push on now,
“I have to keep progressing and I have to strive to be as good a player as I can possibly be.” – Jack Grealish
Aston Villa currently have a staggering 12 players out loan, 3 of those are already playing in the Championship (Herd, Gardner and Bennett). But I feel as though our midfield is a little light, so it’s important to have Grealish available. I reckon he can make an impact this season, but as Roy Keane recently pointed out. Fans can’t get carried away with Grealish, he is yet to start for Villa nor provide a goal or assist for Villa just yet. As Villa continue to slowly bed him into the side, hopefully we’ll see Grealish become a future starting member in our squad.
