From Young And Hungry To Old And Past It!

With the imminent signing of Kieran Richardson, plus Cole and Sendeross are Villa going back to the MON days of getting players past their prime.
Under MON we paid ridiculous wages and to add insult to injury gave long term deals to these players. Now we have finally cleared our wage bill from the MON era we seem to be heading back that way. Also is Richardson a Lambert signing or a Keane signing?

Ok we may not be giving them the ridiculous wages of Dunne, Warnock etc but surely any money no matter how small could be spent better than this.
These players (bar Sendeross) 5-6 years ago fair enough but this is just a desperate attempt by the club as the so-called ‘young and hungry’ con has failed miserably. Now the club expect us to buy into the ‘old and past it’ mantra.

What’s wrong with buying 2-3 decent players in the middle!!! Go figure.

lamberk iam the one person that has backed the manager 100%, i believed hes been given no help wots so ever , i believe the trouble we’re in is due 2 many managers in a short space, for one reason or another then we are left with a miss matched squad.

new owners needed first then more likely a new manager but i think their no better manager than lambert at present 2 work under these tight times and see us safe

why don’t you post under ur real name or is it u don’t believe in wot u say????

Ron won’t go to Utd. He doesn’t actually like LVG. Though had UTD been in Champs League it might have balanced out. Vlaar won’t go anywhere that does not have a CL slot this season.

Delph, you can say it is coincidence but it probably isn’t. Villa’s home form slump coincides exactly with Delph’s playing. He is OK with the counter-attacking of away matches but cannot cope with teams that sit back and invite Villa to attack. I would be happy to take 8-10 million, because I think he is a jinx. As several people say already we do need to strengthen the midfield go take pressure off the defence.

Right or Wrong? What do YOU think?
