I could rattle on about the Boro game, but it’s pretty much all been said, with some thinking we were utter rubbish and some thinking we were massively unlucky in not scoring.
Me, I sit somewhere in-between in thinking we quite simply aren’t scoring enough, yet you couldn’t have made up Hogan’s inadvertent block that cost us two points. If one of our defenders had done that, we’d have been raving about it.

I detest the way Bruce sets us up, especially at home, but also see the point that he doesn’t tell the players to be so reticent.
Bruce is frankly a puzzler and I err on the side of caution in not wanting him sacked.
For now.
And that might quickly change.
But it still all boils down to results and we haven’t been getting them, simple.
So what to expect tomorrow?
On paper, Barnsley shouldn’t even be in the same league as us if you look at the squads, but we all know that means nothing, as a top disjointed team will not perform as well as a well-drilled lower team.
Which is why I’m scared to even make a prediction about this game.
The big news for me is that Taylor has a shin problem, which means he’s doubtful.
And without him, we don’t have a recognised Left Back.
Never mind, Nathan Baker can play there can’t he?
Oh, er, hang on…..
So maybe we can expect Bjarnason to play there then.
Which is just a fudge, given that we have half a team of Right Backs.
I could also rattle on about Barnsley and how they have certain players out etc, but the truth is I know nothing about them.
It isn’t about them anyway and it’s much more about how we perform.
Will we be the team that performs similar to the Norwich game?
Or will we prove toothless, just as we did against 10 man Boro?
If Kodjia plays and scores, having been dead selfish and made the goal himself, will we still moan?
I’m going to predict a 1-1 draw, in the hope that we might actually win. But I’m not in the slightest bit convinced.
It’s literally just fingers crossed these days.
Who knows how this one will go. However, there is one man who doesn’t have a clue. Please step forward SB. Please please please SB set up defensively and play players out of position. It’s been effective in helping us to the lofty heights of excellence we all so desire.
I was really convinced we’d win the other night, and that was before the game. Then when they went down to 10 men I was even more convinced.. still can’t quite wrap my head around he we only came away with a point. Were we too cautious? Maybe. Did we miss a few sitters? Definitely. Would we have won the game if Lansbury wasn’t given his marching orders? All ifs and buts. On to Barnsley now and it’s hard to be confident given our away form. We desperately need that next win before we lose again, and Bruce should know that more than anyone. Massive game.

Great to see Adomah not only play, but also remind Bruce that he has a lot to offer. Davis, hopefully it is nothing too serious, but well done to the lad – great to see him finally get a goal. A great effort and result. Now hopefully the team can string a few wins together and cobra kai our way to the top.
