Bacuna tore Manchester City apart, well he was one of the main reasons why Aston Villa beat Man. City over the weekend. The recent Man of the Match player assisted El Ahmadi’s goal and scored one himself with a free-kick. The Aston Villa midfield has been crying out for a creative player for some years now and it appears as though Lambert has brought one in. Bacuna has been described as a very versatile player, in fact he has already played in midfield against Liverpool and Tottenham and at right-back most recently against Man. City and Norwich.
Our midfield consists of some very hard workers, El Ahmadi and Delph have been terrific so far being involved in attacks and defensive plays. However, we are missing a creative player to make that killer pass. I think Bacuna can do that, if we play him in midfield with El Ahmadi and Delph Villa will have a mix of creativity and hard-workers. Besides, the right-back position isn’t that weak either, Matthew Lowton hasn’t hit his best form yet but last season he had a terrific season. Making 3 assists, scoring 2 goals, it’s believed that Lowton can return to that form if he is given another chance at right-back.
