Delph tries taking on players far too many times and continues losing the ball, that’s not “good”.

Bacuna’s hardly done anything defensively, get him forward, Spurs are trying everything through Townsend.

    Lambert out!
    Lerner out!

Rubbish. Utter rubbish. Cheap 2nd division football. Pay peanuts, get monkeys.

That wasn’t a very good match. I’m glad I saved my £100 and stayed in Hampshire…

A top drawer shower as the Newcastle game Lerner’s selling us short boys and girls and I’m f**cked if I will enter VP whilst again until this buffoon relinquishes the reigns.
    AVFC RIP.

A predictable result to what was a predictable match. It’s hard to take, but AVFC can no longer compete with the likes of Tottenham Hoitspur. They have a squad full of quality and strength in every position. Add in the astute nature Daniel Levy conducts his business and an excellent young manager in Villas-Boas, its no surprise look a million miles away from them. Its clear we have none of the assets Spurs possess.
AVFC is a club going nowhere ATM. Benteke will see us safe this season but next year when he goes things will be bleak. Deary me Randy, what an ambitionless pit you have created

Agreed we will never be good again under Lerner second half they battered us and they didn’t play that great either but still miles to good for us. Lamberk has to go and go now the football at home is clueless and no better than under mcclown. Lamberk set us up not to get hammered just like mcleish if mcleish was here we would be screaming for his head. Lambert has had enough time he failed miserably to sort out a dm and am Lerner won’t trust him with any more than £10m. It’s a joke tge club is run badly from top to bottom if only we had levy.

Changing the manager won’t do anything, bar the odd anomaly, the teams that invest do well. We buy on the cheap, this is the net result.

But Spuds didn’t impress at all!!!!! Considering they spent over £100million this summer alone, they looked very average.

So we lost to a team assembled by far more than 100mil and now again we are Shite again! Fickle, deluded, clueless or just plane stupid, take your pick.

How about realistic. Of course we lost to team that cost millions to assemble, the point is our teams has been assembled on the cheap. Lerner is to blame here, I’m stunned he’s got away with so much.
The Browns fans warned us, so much so they called their home stadium the “factory of sadness”. VP is pretty similar to that, bar the fluke Man City win, its the same script every other week.

Agree and glad someone else has realised city win was a fluke. Unless Lerner goes this is all we have to look forward to the man is a disgrace the way he has run this club into the ground

West ham beat them and we beat arsenal and city Ffs. Dosnt mean anything every team is beatable. The last 3 home games v spurs we have conceded 10 goals and scored none. We never looked like scoring today and never looked like scoring v hull. We are awful not just because of today’s result but how we have performed since lambert arrived. U are the reason y they get away with it always making excuses. We lost at home to Newcastle what’s the excuse for that their side didn’t cost 100s of millions. U talk absolute shite so go and lick Lerner and lamberks arse on another site

God how I’m hating our beautiful game. And the blind sheep just make it worse. If we’d have been spanked in a quality manner then fair enough, but however much Spuds have spent, they were very, very average. And what hurts is that we were much, much worse.

Spot on spurs were very ordinary but still light years ahead of us. Especially secind half

how much have spurs spent compared to villa last ten years and what are they worth now changing managers doesnt do any goog houllier spent 25 to 30 million one window mcleish spent about 20 million two windows lambert spent about 40 million never mind who signed ireland lerner has gave the money but it is starting to look like lambert has bought quantity over quality big time we didnt need keeper in summer and if he thinks kovac is better than bent we are in deep trouble bowery dawkins helnius not needed
