Looks like Clattenburg is the ref today, can’t stand that arrogant prick. Really hope we get some look going our way today, I reckon 3-2 Home win with Benteke grabbing a late winner 🙂

He’s the one that fucked Everton up against Liverpool a few seasons ago when he should of sent pool player of and give a pen. He is right up gerrards arse as well. 4.2 to Liverpool and a Sturridge hatrick. Just can t c us winning today ESP with clattenburg playing

im going 3-2 aswell, expecting plenty of goals and hoping for a good home performance, gutted wont be there 🙁 the 1t chance i’ll get to see us at home will be against Newcastle.
I believe arsenal and Chelsea underestimated us but I don’t think Liverpool will and the way the 3pts go is going to be very close I expect.
Liverpool are deluded if they really think they can break a CL place this year(or should I say some of their fans are deluded)its possible of course but unikely in the extreme.
that said there’s a lot of villans expecting a win today but we really shouldn’t underestimate Liverpool at all.

off topic, bent scores for Fulham coming off the bench, 2 yards out typical bent goal. Fulham loose 3-1 arsenal.
brings us back on topic, arsenal comfortably dispatched fernabache and Fulham but really struggled against us and lost and Chelsea comfortably dealt with hull but again really struggled against us and were very lucky to get 3pts, interested how they do against man utd by comparison. but that’s 2 teams who have looked more than comfortable in other games but struggled to play against villa, promising.
would so love a win today but still happy whatever, was fully expecting to approach today and maybe the international break on zero points

I think it will be a fascinating game and we will more than a match for Liverpool. I can feel the per match nerves already. Buzzing! On the Fantasy league front I was honoured to lead the league on week 1. Downhill for Mattston Villa from here hehe .

Got to press the ball more in the middle…….stop them running the show

Eddie..probably easier said as done. We have problems to create at home. I feared it before the game. Maybe it will change second half.

Work the ball wider and keep it away from the Liverpool playmakers……we play a bit too narrow in the middle and the better teams do exploit that…….come on lads……..

Liverpool just doing what we do when we’re away, this is why a no10 is needed for when we play at home as when we get 15 yards from their box we give it away 9 times out of 10

We’re shit simple as that we got lucky last week. Lambert out

Very predictable. No creative midfielder makes it very difficult at home games. Naive of lambert to think counter attack will work at VP.
I am 100% sure we will pick up more points away from home this season again, I think our home form will be very poor again unless we invest in a creative player.
Not impressed at all by Bacuna and Tonev but its early days still. Neither are PL players at this moment.
On the evidence of this week, we’ll finish lower mid table. Around 13th IMO.

Give the boys a break guys! Pretty tough first three games of the season. We played well against Arsenal, were unlucky against Chelsea (probably deserved a draw), and lacked the cutting edge today. Liverpool are definitely a team on the up and Rogers has started to get them playing some nice flowing, passing football, like he did with the Swans.

Really poor first half at home. You can’t give Liverpool space and a chance to play football as we did in the first half.At one point they had had 70% of the possession against us at home.I know we have had a tough 1st 3 games and probably lacked a bit today because of that but you can’t go on using that as an excuse for a first half of lackluster play.Better 2nd half should of scored but it seemed it was never going to happen today.Dissapointing display over all expected more but can’t win em all….We need to find that home different way of playing we sat back cant do that at home…..UTV…..

Considering we weren’t at our best we still deserved a draw. Benteke made there keeper work well twice and gabby dragged another wide when he could’ve scored.

They for all there possession never worked Guzan..

Positives.. Luna looks decent.. Okore will make CB position his own and even Vlaar looked better.. Delph will be good this season if he can stay injury free..

Negatives.. Think Westwood and to a degree Lowton have been below par in first three games.. And please RL give PL the funds to by another quality midfielder..!!

Bacuna got man of the match???? How the hell dod that happen he gave the ball away to much. Tonev didn’t looks good at al. El amadi was solid as was delph again. Westwood didn’t cut it for me today. Okore is fantastic!!!! And he took over midfield at times aswel really pleased with Jores. I guess its a time thong but a bit of meat in midfield would be nice. A young yaya tours will do nicley

Very tired performance today. Really the FA screwed us over for this game.

Second half was much better, but still we kept giving the ball away in good positions.

We must buy a creative attacking midfielder before the end of the transfer window if we want to compete in the top half of the table. Not a 2-3m pound player either, someone with proven quality.

Positives today: Delph (MOTM again), Okore/Vlaar worked well together, Luna never stopped running….but that’s it!
