We need a new right back and can’t see this happening…. I really think the club are in the mindset… We are Villa we can sign who we like…Got to love it !

Agree that the right back is a priority but I think I’ll be almost glad when the window ends, just too much every day!

    (Loving it really)

I’d take Fonte over Clarke all day long.

Agree on the right back, unless we’re planning to move Richards there long term.

Did we just sign Traore, fucking magic!

I like the 4 CB’s we’ve got, plus isn’t Donacien supposed to be a cracking prospect. Never thought I’d say this, but the squads getting too big, stop buying and start selling Tim!

On another note, I’m coming up from Herefordshire tonight, I usually get on the M5, then onto M6 and get off at J6 and park at Star City, I’ve heard that J6 on the M6 is closed, any ideas for another route and car park, thanks in advance lads…UTV.

I would leave M5 at Junction 3 (A456), head towards brum. Go down Hagley road past Bearwood traffic lights and turn left on BarnsleyRoad, go to end of road and turn right onto Sandon Road. At first traffic Lights turn left onto City Road. Go all the way to the end of City road and turn right onto Dudley Road, take left after the hospital (Western Road, travel all the way down it until you meet the dual carriageway where you turn left. Straight on at Islane, then second exit at next island (Great King Street N which leads into Wheeler Street) At mini roundabout go left onto Clifford Street, straight on until you reach the dual carriageway turn left and stay in left hand lane to exit up ramp to the Island. At Island turn right onto Witton Road and look for a decent place to park. Its the way I always go and avoids loads of traffic.
Sorry for long post just trying to help a fellow villain

Looks like Senderos is moving on too. Although this is the right move, he was surprisingly good last season before his injury. Good luck Phillipe.

Yes, the couple of games that he did play, he looked quite good – which was a surprise to me as well.

Exciting times. I guess our new director of football pinched from Arsenal must have been held back by Arsene Wenger saying he had enough talent. Now he is at VP and Tim is saying he’s open to changing the whole squad!

Omar Khayyam (not a new signing) had Tim’s post Wembley mind-set right with this.

Ah Love. Could thou and I with Fate conspire
To grasp this sorry Scheme of Things entire,
Would we not shatter it to bits – and then
Re-mould it nearer to the Heat’s Desire!

Make’s a change from The Bard of Stratford!

I really do believe that ‘rumour’ regarding Sherwood’s [alleged] comments to the failures in the Wembley dressing room after the FAC final – a bunch of losers with the wrong mentality who would never succeed and needed to go.

There may be a few who he can’t shift yet for contractual reasons without giving them big pay-offs, so the likes of Agbonlahor and N’Zog will get plenty of bench-polishing time this season, but the rest will be fresh talent…

I’d say it’s 100% clear he did make that statement after that final. They let themselves down, the club, the fans and the competition too.
