A few weeks ago when Larry Ellison was being talked off I explored some links between him and Lerner. This was in the belief that Randy is going to sell us to some he knows.
Well following on from today’s announcement I have looked at any links to Philip Anschutz and then came across something.
You will know that we are going on tour to Texas in the Summer, I always held off from saying this was to new owners. Of course Anschutz owns one of the teams Houston Dynamo’s that we are playing. Well the other team is FC Dallas ….
The owner there is Clark Hunt.
Hunt also owns the Kansas City Chiefs NFL team so there is no doubt he and Randy in owners meetings have met many times. He has also owned previously the Columbus Crew and who did we play in Lerner’s home state of Ohio a few years ago ?
If you google Clark Hunt you will see his name linked with takeovers at Palace, Newcastle and West Ham, so he has had interest in English football.
Could it be we see a joint ownership between the two and do they know each other ?
The answer is a clear yes as THIS LINK shows and let me quote

Lamar Hunt (deceased) was Clark Hunt’s dad … the two are obviously very close, a joint bid from them is now by favourite.
Apparently agents of 9 players have been told to find their players new clubs as the advisors are telling the club to trim £15m off the annual wage bill to make a more viable selling proposition.

I am, seeing he’s asked me my opinion mainly on the likes of Moyes. He said he likes Yakin, but we’ve never once had an indepth convo on him like a few others.
Mate after talking to drinking buddies (VILLA fans) the amount of names they pull out the sky, they should all work for the media as most of it is pure bollox.
He’s not claiming it’s 100%. But then he did tell me Lambert was sacked on Friday and he was being paid off before it even made it to twitter so I have no reason to disbelieve him yet. He at least isn’t making up knowing he doesn’t know who the new owner will be.
He also told me about a 2:30 press-conference tomorrow before I read it elsewhere. So if that comes true… Well…

My mate claims it’s all guess work from the papers as they like us have no idea. The papers did claim Lambert went to the US to talk about transfers, did they not? So they have no idea if he’ll actually get sacked.

Not sure giddy as don’t know how good or bad the rest of their defence is. He has improved this season but since Chelsea game he has been awful. Nothing to do with youngsters either as when he played well he still played alongside them.
Tbh mate I’m lost nowadays when it comes to Holland I haven’t even got a clue who their regular back 4 are,but I’m sure some knowledgeable choppy on here will enlighten me. 😉

If they’re correct. The papers claimed he’d be going for talks over transfers, why would everyone else claim he’s been told he’s been sacked? However will Lerner actually give him the money he wants while he’s trying to sell? I mean the claims we’ve talked to Spurs over Lennon and Holtby, claims we want Gutierrez and Rodwell who’s been put up for sale… They’d cost like 15m together. Plus be on about 150-175k wages together if we wanted them. Will that happen?
We are not up for sale Andrew it’s all bollox so Lerner can maintain the status quo for more years without the fans getting on lamberks back. It’s disgusting that that twat is still here. No way will I be at vp next season that’s for sure
